My daughter and her college friends stayed at the Park MGM last year. She is a hardcore foodie and I presumed she would love it there. Full Stop. She said she would never go back to Vegas because the food and drink prices were outrageous. Also the service was slow and there were too many lines. My wife and I used to love Vegas in the 1990's and the 2000's but there are way too many petty upcharges and hidden fees which would take all the fun away. We'll stay home and go to the local Indian casinos. I love your channel Dani but Vegas has lost it's attraction for us over the years.
I get it. I think tourist spots have been pretty wild with crowds and pricing all over after 2020. Noticed it in many spots in FL as well when we were there. There's places to go, you just got to find the right spots but it's a challenge when your not familiar. 🙁
Downtown is better.
Its called staying downtown away from tbe strip. These small town folk think this is 1970 prices

I think it's pretty cool both spots are coming west. I would have looooved an in n out in FL the 3 years we were there. Love all the options in Vegas. Fingers crossed on portillo's making their way out here. 😁😁

It was! Remembered to order it! I don't like mustard tho. 🙁 That for sure went against my first try when we were traveling to FL. No onions or mustard for me. Otherwise, I'm down. Haha.

Heading to Vegas on Monday (3/4/24). Can't wait. I live in L.A. but I fell in love with Whataburger when I was stationed at Fort Sill in Lawton OK. Whenever I travel back east, if there's a Whataburger around its always my first stop. I'm salivating just watching this!

I live one mile from a Whataburger in Dallas. When my relatives come to town from Colorado they want to go there for breakfast, lunch and then out for BBQ, sea food or Mexican food for dinner.

Oh Dani. The things you have to do to keep us up on the happenings in Vegas. We visit family in Texas every year and I’ve seen Whataburger everywhere (plus dozens of other offerings) when we’ve been out and about, but don’t usually stop for fast food. I think I had it at an airport once and probably enjoyed it (it’s been a while). May try the Vegas spot. The upper deck and also access to pizza and beer is appealing. Thanks for the tour!
The Vegas location is special. It's refreshing to have a cost friendly option without the drop in quality of food and still a nice / modern feel on the strip. 😁
Thanks for putting this together. 😊 As a Vegas resident I’ve been waiting for it. Question, can you clarify if they are adding more locations to Arizona or are you saying it’s new to AZ completely? Growing up in AZ we had Whataburger but I felt the video implied that it was going to be new to AZ. I’m cognitively slow so it could be me not understanding. I’m just wondering because new locations in Arizona means more options when visiting family. Before Vegas, we’d drive to AZ just to get our Whataburger fix, because in my opinion it’s that good. Or maybe it’s childhood nostalgia. Either way, it’s exciting. Again, thanks for putting this together. Videos take so much time.

I've heard a lot about WHATABURGER... some say it lives up to the hype. I am going to be in Vegas in about a week... I think I may have to try it out. I have never had one of their burgers, but the pizza and breakfast also looks amazing!! Great videos Dani.702!

There were several Whataburger locations in California in the 1970s/80s, from Simi Valley up to San Jose, but the company pulled out of the state in the late 1980s. Some of the locations were turned into other restaurants, while others were simply torn down. Glad to see there's one in Vegas now. I'll check it out on my next trip up from L.A.

@@Dani702 awesome! I agree the honey biscuit is amazing. The taquitos are good too. I'm not sure if they have the A1 thick and hearty anymore but that was my favorite back in the day. Like Hank Hill says, ain't no burger like a whataburger.

I’ll have to try breakfast there sometime, looks delicious! There was a Whataburger near the FL Mall once, but it closed down. A group of us from monorails went there after work one night at like 2am.
I really liked the breakfast. I hear the pancakes are good too. Seems like they used to be all around and pulled back. Since they are making their way back west, I wonder if they will add in a few back in FL.

I love the way it looks inside it looks so freaking cool and I love that they have so many options to choose from, now the food you ordered looked really good and I loved the fact that you tried the breakfast because breakfast is my favorite meal of the day and I can eat it anytime and what you got is probably the same breakfast item I would have gotten and you can’t go wrong with those hash browns I mean I freaking love those also I still can’t get over the size of that pizza 🍕 and it looked so darn good and it looked like you saved the best for last the magnificent fried dough and I must say Dani you looked like you were in heaven during that whole meal which has made me want to go there even more so, thanks for showing off Whataburger again and I’m glad you and Eddie enjoyed the heck out of it, now with that peace ☮️ love ❤️ and happiness to you Dani and Eddie and I’ll see you on the next Vegas vlog adventure peace ☮️ out ✌️
Have you had cauliflower hash browns before? All the other days that I'm not filming I eat pretty clean and healthy. But, I love breakfast too. Egg whites, turkey bacon, laughing cow cheese, salsa in a low carb tortilla with a side of cauliflower hash browns are my jam! Lol.

Whataburger was in Southern California in the early 70’s to early 80’s. I went there often as a kid/teenager and was sad when they closed. The building still stands as a Taco Bell. 🍔

I honestly dont know much about it. BUT, when we were there a few weeks ago, to this video a few days ago. It looks like much more has been built. I THINK they were working on it too when we were eating on the patio. :)

we've had whatabuger here in Phoenix for as long as i can remember. there's one about a mile from me but i've never eaten there
Thats funny. There's a few spots that I see all the time and for whatever reason have never tried in my life. Like Arbys or Weinersnitchel. No real reason behind it either. Besides from maybe if there is an in n out close to them, thats a no brainer for me.

I'd say enjoy those low prices while they last. This place is already one of the most popular fast food places on the strip.

Good morning! I have a whataburger about 10min from the house, 2 best sandwiches in my opinion are the Patty Melt and Chicken Honey BBQ strip sandwich.. and the DrPepper shake is a huge plus! I Still think Hardee's is a notch better.. but you have the best setup there.. Great video! Lou

I parked inside of Aria. Most MGM locations gives 3 hours free parking for locals.
My custom order: Triple meat Whataburger substitute pickles for grill jalapeños triple bacon triple cheese and depending on the mood I either go with toasted buns or Texas toast mmmmmm……😛😛😛😛 Whataburger😊😊😊😊😊😊

The first time I had a burger from them I didn't like it. But it has mustard and I had no idea what to order. The last time we went I did a Patty mountain made sure to customize it to my liking and it was so much better. Breakfast was bomb tho!

I'm from Wisconsin, and when I'm in LV, In-N-Out is a must-stop. Is Whataburger better than In-N-Out? Looks like the prices are much better at In-N-Out.
In n out forever!!! They just don't have a dope patio and breakfast tho. But always in n out for us if craving a good burger at a deal price.

How funny, I looked up the HHN stuff yesterday to try and find any info. I didn't see any updates. When you drive by on the freeway you can kind of see the property and there are a few spaces being cleared out. I know they're also building a John wick experience that's supposed to open later this year. 👍🏼👍🏼 I don't have much info on them tho.

Damn if I would’ve known there’s on in Vegas I would’ve tried something else when I visited Texas. It was average. Nothing to write home about
I thought the same when I tried it driving through TX. I just order a #1. And I was like "eh" but the experience at this one was great, on top of asking my cousin (who lived in TX) for a personalized recommendation know the foods I like.

I hope that's not the case. It's really great to see budget friendly options showing up along the strip. I've seen a taco bell cantina, a two story canes, and hopefully soon a portillo's are thriving on the strip. Finger cross on more good options.
