Here I sit in Parker AZ. Looking at the water from my deck with a fire burning. I absolutely love my home here. CA poisons everything. My vacation home has become my sanctuary. 19 years of back and forth and now just forth.
I don't know what you did but you did it right. I've got a single wide on bean pot hill and I'm happy. Enjoy
@@IEchuckie, Thank you. Bean Pot isn’t a bad place to be. I’m right down in Marina View Estate. I was lucky enough to be at the right place at the right time. I spent summers as a kid here with my family. I can’t believe how much everything has changed. I find peace here.
I bought the land ( 35x100 deeded) in 2004 for $12k. Bought a mobile for $37k. Just last year I bought the lot next to me for $20k. Plan on a 24x45 garage in a few years when the wife retires and we sell the CA house. I started going to the river in the 60s with the cousins and family at the Red rooster on the CA side about 20 miles north of Blythe. I'm 67 and been coming ever since. I hunt and fish and have junk old cars to play with. Life is good.
@@IEchuckie, what I like most is that most of us have learned that the CA rat race is not happiness or quality of life. But old junk cars, fishing, hunting and just being and feeling free is what matters. I could care less if someone is “rich” or poor. Our wealth is our family and our lives.

Any idea what it costs to buy a decent little house situated on this River in Parker Az?not necessarily a house this big...just a clue would be very appreciated.
with the way the market is right now, i would say the trailer next door to this house is worth around $750000 thousand.
