Glory to GOD! CHRIST IS RISEN! So happy for you. Pascha is a remarkable blessing in every way. Something mystical. Blessings on becoming a catechumen in the future.

As a first timer this pascha I was trying to repeat what I hear and I thought it was indeed he has risen but as we continued through the service I realized no he IS risen!
I had the opportunity this weekend to attend the services from Holy Thursday to the fellowship meal after midnight. It was an amazing experience and all I can keep thinking is that this is the true apostolic Christianity, the way it should be around the world.
I was baptized this Holy Saturday. There is no greater joy than to be raised from the dead, from hell itself, with my Savior guiding me hand and hand. Christ is Risen! Glory to God!
Χριστός ανέστη αληθώς ο κύριος. Christ has risen indeed truly he has ☦️ thank you so very much for sharing that poignant beautifully touched narrative of Paschal history with your viewers ☦️🕊️
Yep I even got the tense wrong. I am bound to get every detail of Orthodox Christianity wrong at some point in order learn. Truly he is risen!. PS. Kiss the cross first always.
Hristos a înviat! Christ has risen Stephen so that he may testify His resurrection and the true meaning of the gospels. And He says to him, now and always: "Do not fear, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by name; you are Mine!"
How wonderful that Mr Anderson experienced and apprehended the joy of Christ as an observer . It would be wonderful to see that fervour born out communally today. We are in Australia and make up a small but growing part of the population so alas not in my lifetime but who knows what the future holds ?
Christ has arisen brothers! Love all your work. Not that it makes a difference to the theology but the direct translation of the biblical ηγερθη and the hymn ανεστη are both in past tense: "arose" and "resurrected" because doubting His ongoing state of being resurrected would be out of the question. Also the fact that it is a historical event is important. So saying arose is exactly what Greek is saying buy "has arisen" helps us feel the present reality each year, like the first Christians who just heard the news. Arisen is better than risen at it encompasses His having risen from something, i.e. death, not just having moved upwards. I translated the hymn to "has risen" due to popularity of existing translations but should literally be "Christ has ressurected from the dead..." which I might do a first version of soon. Here's a link for your interest ruclips.net/video/z6vzb-CC7SI/видео.htmlsi=UPQum5TNg2GNRDy7 P.S. Carry on your great work and God bless!
Thank you for these wonderful videos! And so great that we have such platforms to express and discuss our faith. I have always wondered why we use "is risen". If we are to state that one is more correct than the other, it is best to reference the original Greek text rather than an English translation. As mentioned above, ανέστη in ancient Greek means "resurrected" hence "has risen" is more correct than "is risen".
