    Dude, Merrill is a savage for the Levis assessment. It was just honest but you don't hear honesty in sports media that often

      @SomethinDifferentEnt Год назад +1

      Not even savage. Truth
      Dont allow the ugliness of the masses to let beauty surprise
      I wouldnt have drafted Levis at ALL after seeing how he reacted to his day 1 plunge

    It worked out absolutely perfect for us. Kenny, our franchise qb, falling to pick #20 and us not having to mortgage the farm to move up... allowing us to have our picks this year to get our franchise left tackle and future #1 or 2 solid corner. It takes some teams years to find a new franchise qb. Ours was heaven set and we are already back on track to compete! go Steelers!

    Merrill Hoge’s football IQ is off the charts. Loved watching him on playbook with Jaworski and Cosell. When it comes to scouting and breaking down tape he is second to none. #Steelcurtain

    I loved Merril when he was a STEELER. I HATEWHEN A GOOD STEELER PLAYER LEAVES FOR ANOTHER TEAM. MR Hoge was a hard n tough run back ( called fullback) I very happy to see him back in "The Burg " LETS GO BLACK N GOLD

    Merrill Hodge was one of my favorites because he wasn’t very big but he had tenacity!….I used to think he wasn’t going to get up when he got hit….but he would lower his shoulder and deliver a hit too!
    I’m glad he has become a scout for the Steelers and he’s a great human being!

    • @paladin1726
      @paladin1726 Год назад +1

      He was 6'2", 230 lbs when he played. That's a good size for a RB or FB.
      One L in the first name. No D in the last name.

    I just need one more Super Bowl in my lifetime with this team, I’ve witnessed two already and I really want cam Hayward to get one and Mike Tomlin…I’d rather have consistent chance at super bowls then just going through the motions with drafts and what not….we got Kenny Pickett and let’s pray he can be hell even half as “successful” as Big Ben…but I believe in KP and mike Tomlin…hope our offense can open up more and our defense with TJ watt can stay healthy and dominate!! Let’s Go Steelers!!! 🖤💛

    Only thing Merril got wrong was on Levis he is playing in our league in his words,he might stink but he's playing and made it .

    • @NT-or9wh
      @NT-or9wh Год назад

      He seems spot on with Levis. He criticized his accuracy and taking sacks. Levis is currently under 58% completion rate and takes a lot of sacks-including 6 against the Colts.. Also said Titans was the best case scenario for him to have a chance to develop.
