This is one of the best racers on the PS2. I still own it. This game changed my life. The soundtrack alone, was godtier.

Haha, as a look back. the number of hours I spent on this game was crazy....and then I found out about online servers (gamover)
@@123jorandbroothere’s a team reviving the ps2 online servers but they are trying to do every game so it may be a while before we see a private server.
BUT, the game is online on PC but clubs and drive ins are gone forever because that was an online component. But the good side it there are mods to add the ps2 backround music because the pc version has a different soundtrack but you can mod almost anything in the game it’s awesome!

One of the few games I've bothered to 100% (my first save file died at 50%, so I had to grind some extra to make it). The feel, music, size of the map, everything was mindblowing back in the day. Played it on PS2, btw.

That's not the same race
The PC/Xbox 360 version of TDU got 2 "lap around the island" races, the first being a race without traffic, and the other is a time attack race in reverse with a lot of traffic

Amazing race game of all the time, even after 16 years after his release. And by the way, Saleen is my favourite car in this game

tbh this game is better than the crew's gameplay factors, i mean it's old but it's able to render a whole map without internet -_-(for what i think so far the game needs net for rendering the game map or something.) ah the good old days when there was no dlcs too.
There was DLC, the online mode for ps2
Too bad you can't unlock all houses after beating the last race in the PC version, which doesn't feel rewarding compared the PS2 port.

Zakaria Youncha You know why he used the Saleen? Remember in the beginning he saw a Saleen in his dream rocking the streets.. He know he's going to make it true one day and he did it.
Good race. I prefer the Xbox 360 version, but you did opt for the fastest car, the Saleen. We used to race the multiplayer race around the island with whatever car...i preferred the XJ220. She was slower, but I could beat anyone, except ReclusiveDuck or Greg in her. Just gotta not make mistakes. Times under 48:00 were great.

@@andreypanarin6930 quite late but yeah ME-412 is the fastest. On a clean run without hitting any traffic you could probably do this race in under 40 minutes

Esse jogo tinha um bug que eu não conseguia alcançar os 100%. Lembro que parei em 97 ou 98℅ e simplesmente não tinha mais nada para fazer. Será que tinha bug só na versão PS2?

The turns at 41.37 and 43.47 are completely pointless you may as well just stick to the correct side of the road you still end up on the right track

I need a little help I'm at 73 percent I think but I'm not sure how to increase it I've completed the series races and all of the regular ones but I'm sure what to do when I look in the statistics it says that I haven't completed all of the races but I don't see those on the world map
I don’t know why the PS2/PSP Saleen S7 is having the louder sound than the PC/Xbox 360
Some cars have different sound effects, some of them are better in PS2 and PSP versions.

@@Victor_2000s this is one of my favourite games on PC but seeing it on PS2 I feel I couldnt enjoy it much. Still I think the graphics and the feeling of freedom is among the most importsnt parts here, especially when it doesnt need some strong PC.
Dude, the PS2 version is okay. But way, way easier. And worse. Graphics especially.
For the full game, get an Xbox 360.
