The guitar work and the guitar tones, MVP of this track - 🫡
Vocals, drums, production, groove, all killer, hits hard in all the right places.
The synth is still BOO sounding so I'm guessing Cameron and Lee are gonna write synths now that Joe left. Joe's vocals aren't on this or Torchbearer it's all Ronnie.
Hard disagree Nath about the 80s haha so many classics, love this track more than the last album personally!

I have a theory around song structuring they are using. Gen z are the generation that you need to sell on your Music in order to maintain income for the band. That TikTok generation has a short attention span. Every song has to be like scrolling a few TikToks in a row, the length of just a riff or two. Ideally different enough to mimic watching a few TikTok’s in a row. Throw a breakdown callout and downtempo and uptempo and you got a song that kids will fuck with. 😂

This song ain't it for me. I don't mind complexity, and I like a bit variety and tempo changes. But this felt varied for the sake of being varied - too choppy and changey, which felt a bit jarring! It actually felt like my mind was short circuiting at times haha. But that okay ☺️
