2014年11月，我的第二次南极之行就要结束时，得到消息，冰岛的火山爆发了，我就直接飞到了冰岛。
In November 2014, as my second trip to Antarctica was coming to an end, I got word that a volcano had erupted in Iceland and I flew straight there.
这是一个遍布火山与冰川的美丽国家。
It is a beautiful country dotted with volcanoes and glaciers.

The heat and poisonous gases of the crater are deadly. But to capture a truer, more beautiful shot,
I asked the pilot to fly lower and lower until the helicopter's alarms became deafening.

Flying at such a low altitude can be extremely dangerous. However, in order to capture beauty, photographers often forget these risks.

冰川溶化后形成的密集河网，也是冰岛的典型地貌。它们独特的魅力深深地吸引了我。
Volcanoes and glaciers have shaped Iceland's distinctive landscape, including its renowned black sand beaches, created as volcanic rock eroded into fine sand by the sea. The dense network of rivers, formed by glacier melt, is a hallmark feature of Iceland's terrain. I found myself captivated by their unique charms.
而这种魅力，在接下来的几天里，让我付出了很大的代价。
And these charms, over the next few days, came with a heavy price.
