    👍Looks good, I like how the tie rod ends have that detail and the little bolt on them to make them look real.

    I think you should only half screw the part where you put the rod and then put the rod in as it compresses the o ring and tighten the part where the shaft is after you put the rod in as you can damage the o rings

    • @Matteomeier
      @Matteomeier  4 года назад +1

      This is a good advice, thanks. That's why I add oil on the o-rings to prevent damage. But I will keep in mind your tip for the next time. 👍😊

    4:58 * internal screaming * PLEASE get a shock tool, the poor piston rod!

    • @ShenRC
      @ShenRC 4 года назад +2

      Hi he looks like he is holding it right above the last threads on the rod and most all times your shock rod can't be compressed that far into the shock so even if it got a little mark on it it would not matter anyhow it should be ok.

    • @Matteomeier
      @Matteomeier  4 года назад +1

      No worries, as you can see in the video I do not used a pliers, it's a side cutter indeed. So it comes only in contact where the thread is at the end of the rod. Therefore no damage of the piston rod. 👍😊

      You see it correct Steve! 👍😊

      @@ShenRC Yup, that low on the rod is where the springholder sits so that part of the rod never goes in the shock. It's a bit tacky but no problem at all.

    Great video. I'm almost done with mine, just needs painted. I've noticed body roll when I drive it. Why do you think it rolls side to side when going forward or reverse. I have the shocks adjusted about a quarter inch pre load on the springs.

    • @Matteomeier
      @Matteomeier  3 года назад

      This have nothing to do with the springs or dampers. This is a result of the overdrive (faster turning front wheels) in combination on hard surface. This creates a tension on the drive train with the result of this kind of torque twist. On loose ground this phenomenon does not happen, because the tires can slip.

    Matteo, another great installment!! Did your Kit COME with Metal Ball Ends? I've seen other Kits, but they came with PLASTIC Ball Ends instead. Not that it would deter me, but if like to know if GMade has upgraded the Buffalo Kits. 😉

    Hurrah , gestern ist mein Buffalo endlich bei mir angekommen . Gutes Video ! Aber über eine Sache war ich dann doch etwas geschockt .
    Ein Seitenschneider an einer runden Welle ? Ich nehme dafür eine Kugelkopfzange . Die hat Aussparungen mit verschiedenen Durchmessern .
    Grüße aus Rußheim

      Danke für dein Feedback, wünsche dir viel Spass beim Bau, ist wirklich ein super Truck der Buffalo! 👍 Der Trick mit dem Seitenschneider funktioniert aber tatsächlich sehr gut. Der Seitenschneider natürlich nicht an der Runden Kolbenstange ansetzen sondern bei der letzten Rille vom Gewinde. Darin verhakt sich der Seitenschneider und es wird gar nicht viel Druck benötigt um das Endstück aufzuschrauben. Die Lauffläche der Kolbenstange bleibt dabei unberührt und völlig intakt. Habe das früher mit Zange und Flies gemacht hatte aber viel mehr Schwierigkeiten. Natürlich gibts auch spezielle Kolbenzangen usw. die auch gut funktionieren, aber will nicht ein teures Spezialwerkzeug kaufen wenns anders auch geht...

    Hallo Matteo, ich habe bei den Dämpfern das Problem das sie extrem hart sind und eigentlich nicht Dämpfen. Die Kolbenstange lässt sich kaum bewegen. Ist zu viel Öl drin? Was mache ich falsch? Viele Grüße, Markus

    • @Matteomeier
      @Matteomeier  3 года назад +1

      Ja, da hast du zu viel Öl drinne. Öffne sie nochmal und nimm etwas Öl raus bis sie sich gut bewegen,

    Hello Matteo!
    My wife offer me this kit. I built the dampers as explain in the manual, but I found the suspension really hard. The truck does not flex well. Do you have this problem too? How do you fix it?
    Also, on your video, the ball joints are in metal. But in my kit, they are in plastic. Do you bought it separately? What are the references?
    Have a good day. :)

    • @Matteomeier
      @Matteomeier  3 года назад +1

      Hi Nicolas, your wife is very kind! I think you have too much oil inside the dampers. Open the cylinders again and release oil, till the dampers work smooth and soft.
      The metal ball joint were included in the pre-ordered kits as an extra goody. Later are only the plastic ones included.
