I had brain surgery in late June 2021, and this is the song I listened to on replay as I healed. This song gave me hope and peace in my heart, such an amazing song. I just heard it today, September 3, 2021, and I am still alive and remembering more and more each day (surgery kind of caused me to forget things) and I am so grateful to God that I am still here to listen to my song. I need a road trip to sing along at full volume. I love this song even though I am not in love today, but one day, till someday.

Hi Maggie, not sure if you'll see this but I just want you to know that your music always puts so much power in me. There was one day when I woke up feeling extremely depressed. And I noticed this song came out and at the very second it was played it felt like the whole world just lit up. That's one of the most amazing experiences I've ever had in my entire life. It motivated me to start a day that was less depressing as it would have been. So thank you, thank you for the music and the power you send through it.

My beautiful doggie, Sugar passed recently. Maggie Rogers has helped me so much. So beautiful. I had never heard of Dog Years and it randomly played as I was painting the night after my pup passed. I bike everywhere in the midwest snow. Maggie Rogers is wonderful for these rides.

I'm sort of an oldster now (mid 40s). I've been WAITING for almost two decades for someone to appear that sounded like this again. I heard her for the first time on SNL this evening. She's got a 80s / 90s vibe with such an honest, flowing, unprocessed voice. Reminds me of the first time I heard Dolores O'Riordan back in college... different sound, but has that same fresh/ingénue quality that's hard to describe. I bet she makes it big over the next few years.

I've been looking for a comment to express the relationship I have with this song. It was the song I was listening to on my way to the suicide attempt that would bring me closer to death than anything ever has. Whilst I was writing this comment, this was the first time that I have successfully made it through the song without having to click off. I am proud of how far I have made it in just a little over a year and how much better things have become.
