I may be the only one but the clothes they "styled" for you made your body look way different. The way YOU style your body makes you look amazing and most of these clothes made you look bigger or frumpier. I agree dia and co. did the better than the 2.
That's the problem with most things marketed for plus sized women. It's all very frumpy, matronly, floral patterned circus tents that are incredibly over priced. I think that's why her will it fit videos are so popular, because besides for the ease of access, straight sized clothing stores actually have youthful, trendy things.

Yup! Fab Fit Fun beta tested a style box & I had to do all that work and it had the same feel & I told them they needed to learn how to style fat people or higher people that can!

Ah that sucks, like Sarah said I wish they took our measurements. I have a hard time finding jeans that aren't so baggy on my legs but fit over my belly.
I have tried them and loved a lot of pieces. But one of my boxes was a complete miss and I sent everything back. Definitely any styling company is worth a shot in my mind! Gets you out of your comfort zone. Well at least it did for me! One thing I watch and do the math on is with the discount. Sometimes it’s cheaper to keep all of your items and try to sell the ones you don’t like on a sight like Poshmark! Just a little trick I have picked up
Totally agree that they don’t listen to feedback! I gave it like 3 or 4 boxes to really give them a fair chance, and it’s like none of my feedback was even looked at. One of my biggest complaints with plus sized clothing is that some companies seem to think the only people wearing those sizes are older ladies, and the clothes reflect that. I made that very clear when I initially signed up for the box and each time I gave feedback, and I was still receiving things that were super overpriced and looked way too mature for me
I *almost* lumped GB into this video but one, I've tried them many times and two, they aren't quite the same since you can just borrow the clothes from GB.
You know, I almost used dummy accounts because I didn’t want someone to send a box that had any extra attention or anything like that... but clearly that wasn’t something I needed to worry about haha

I dont know, once hired, but i went through the hiring process with Dia & Co. And the first "level" of the hiring process after they accept your application is they sent me two "customers" to style. They give specific profiles to the 2 fake customers you have to style and you basically have to find 5 products to send that match their styles. Now for my hiring process i was given, i believe, a full 24 hours to send back my full powerpoint link completed. And if they think you styled your two ladies well then they will ask to do a web cam interview. (Which is unfortunately why i ended up not getting the job there :( i ended up having to miss the interview due to connection problems.) But yes id say you are, once hired, probably given a time limit per person you style and probably a goal of a certain number of boxes completed a day. Most stylists work from home as well so that may or may not effect how personal they get to know you. Depends on who they are as a person sadly.
Maybe that’s why they sent you that hideous dress, they assumed you aged quite a lot and your style preference changed due to how long they took to send you your box lol! I enjoyed watching 🤗
I actually use Stitch Fix. The first box was ok. I liked 4 of the items. My mom took the 5th item. But my second box was perfect for me. So comfortable, and just my style. That has become my favorite outfit.

Jrw I used to say I wouldn’t pay that price for a pair of jeans. But then I tried on a pair of Not Your Daughters Jeans and they were 120 CDN. I bought them 10 years ago and they still have their shape, there is no fraying in the thighs and they are still my favourite jeans.
I'm so used to buying things at Walmart or the salvation Army cause we were very poor when I was little, it's just habit lol. I can't say I would never pay that much for jeans cause when I was teenager I bought a pair of pants from hot topic that were $85, lol.
Jrw I hear that. I lived on hand me downs and Walmart clothes when I was a kid too. I just did the math one day that a pair of Walmart jeans don’t last long and they are like 40 bucks now adays and would only last a year maybe before the thighs start fraying, I have rather large thighs, lol. So if I bought a couple pairs of gold jeans and they even last 3 or 4 years its ok. I never thought I’d have all three pairs 10 years later and the only thing wrong is my black ones are a little faded. I’m still “Frugal” in a lot of ways but I’ve learned with jeans and shoes you were often, it’s actually cheaper to invest a little.
You should check out AlyssaAllDay, just graduated nursing school and her videos are awesome and inspirational! Also check out America Revere, she’s a med student but her videos are super relatable when it comes to studying and stressing (especially her first and second year vlogs!) and not feeling alone! I find these videos to be nice distractions
I wasn’t a fan of my first Stitch Fix, but I sent them back and tried for a second month and they NAILED it! I have been a user of Stitch Fix for the last year...they nail it EVERY month!
I’m always sad that people get awesome dia and co boxes. The few I got were so matronly and frumpy to the point when I complained, their social media group agreed the stylist was off the mark. I had even made a Pinterest page for them! So disappointing. I had more luck with stitch fix!
These style box companies NEED to find stylists with trend-driven plus size mindsets/experience ....not the "olden-day" rules for dressing plus. It's crazy!

Really happy you did this video. These boxes are popping everywhere and many a plus size vlogger is having a great existing without any misses. Not saying they are lying. But so many months with no misses didn't make sense.
Let's be fair. With Stitch fix, you can extend the return time. I have done it several times. The stylist is very involved and they do try. I get questions from my stylist. I actually like it
I did mention at the end that I assumed these companies would give more leeway with the time, if you asked them. Good to hear that they do get better with each go around.
Just an FYI with stitch fix. Normally if you don’t like the box the next box they don’t charge you the 20.00 styling fee (at least they did for me) which is great. They really do want to get it right.

I'm DYING!! so fun to see it! "WHOS MOM!?!?" I use Dia & Co. And I loved it. I kept all the Jean's and tops and dresses! And they do get better. Cause I hate shopping for me. I never get my sizes or fit right. Lol I always thinking I'm way smaller than I really am. So it's nice they get me and now I have real stuff to wear. ♡♡
It took Dia and Co about 3 boxes for me before they totally nailed it, they definitely took my feedback and made changes. I also liked that I could put in “going to a wedding next month” and they would make sure my next box had something I could wear for it. I put them on pause just because it became an unnecessary expenditure, but I really enjoyed the year and a half I did it and I have some great pieces that I still wear. Favorite thing they ever sent me = Celebrity Pink skinny jeans, I love them!

I use stitchfix - got better each time I got a box because I gave feedback and my stylist listened to all of it and is awesome!!
Also you can get multiple extensions for returning products which I ALWAYS use!

I'm DYING!! so fun to see it! "WHOS MOM!?!?" I use Dia & Co. And I loved it. I kept all the Jean's and tops and dresses! And they do get better. Cause I hate shopping for me. I never get my sizes or fit right. Lol I always thinking I'm way smaller than I really am. So it's nice they get me and now I have real stuff to wear. ♡♡

It took Dia and Co about 3 boxes for me before they totally nailed it, they definitely took my feedback and made changes. I also liked that I could put in “going to a wedding next month” and they would make sure my next box had something I could wear for it. I put them on pause just because it became an unnecessary expenditure, but I really enjoyed the year and a half I did it and I have some great pieces that I still wear. Favorite thing they ever sent me = Celebrity Pink skinny jeans, I love them!
