He evidently fully enjoys playing music, and derives the fullest happiness from doing so.
In other words, the musician we dream of becoming.
This is how I imagine Mozart would have played Chopin :)

One of the best performances of this waltz that I've heard. And his expressions are icing on the cake.
Best version of this waltz!
No lol
My piano teacher played this to me yesterday and it was so beautiful, and for me, better than this probably because it was live. Anyway this performance is so good too and I love it so much❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

No wonder it sounded strange, I had it on 1.25 speed from when I was listening to lovecraft.
lol I bet you went to 1.25 speed to see what is sounds like that
This piano's dynamic color is absolutely mesmerizing! What an incredible instrument!!!
Same goes for the pianist of course! It takes a true master to achieve this range of different sounds! A true delight to listen to!
I actually think this is how Chopin would have played it, steadily, softly and precisely - wonderful performance Ingolf!
Absolutely love this performance!!
the only criticism i have of this performance is that there was no round of applause.
It was in the middle of Chopin COmpetition audition, applause is forbidden. As far as this sounds terrible, this is true. Applause is only permitted after the full programme of the stage is played.
@@gliderfan6196 It makes sense. It means I don't have to factor in minutes of potential applause into my competition program.
You dug Mozart out of the grave? You must share this technology, you rebuilt him flawlessly. This is ground breaking!
You even named him something to do with wolfs and made him Austrian!
ManticTac in golf wunder reassemble wolf ingunder
he looks like the actor from amadeus as well lmao
I'm sure Chopin would get angry on this comment (p.s. don' edit) 😂
Huh
After reading the Biography on his official website, it's hard to think he in fact isn't Mozart!!
How can someone dislike this??

OMG what a beautiful piece 🖤
He looks like the one who played Mozart from "Amadeus".
Yes, Tom Hulce.
Well done Mozart!
lol
Well said Mr Chopin. See you next life in your concert.
he looks more like Ivo Pogoreich
Nice pfp
to me, this is the better interpretation that i even seen of this piece

Great, great performance 👏
I'm falling love to him
Tonight I searched for the perfect performance of this waltz and after many disappointments I came upon this. Mr. Wunder is an unexpected and joyful discovery!
Awesome!!!
I first thought the piece was Mozart of because how he played it then I remembered its was Chopin. amazingg
That's my favorite !
I can’t help but think that this waltz was a development off of Op. 32 No. 2. They sound similar in certain ways. It almost sounds like this waltz is a variation of the nocturne.
Yea lol i thought i was the only one who noticed how similar they sound at times. I personally like this waltz more but they're both absolutely amazing.
Tiene un aire al Mozart de la pelicula "Amadeus" y si es asi, es Mozart interpretando a Chopin, un genio a otro genio 😮 🎼🎵...
So delightful I love it.
The Pianist
Best version
love that face when he slaps out those fortissimo chords.. :D
i love his confidence and his facial expressions, this is what music is abouttt
Unglaublich! Danke fürs Hochladen

He is the winner of the competition, but they gave it to somebody else.... I forgot who...
It's Yulianna Avdeeva
@@МаксимИващенко-п3п Bro the comment above was clearly meant to make a point; that Ingolf's playing was much better and Avdeeva's was easily forgettable and her winning was not deserved.
dude the top 10 of any competition is equally as good!!! they play a different day and the winner will be different... none of the top 10 are lacking in skills compared to each other!
@@marshan1226 I'm explaining the clear humour in the parent comment to someone who lacks the brains to understand the humour.
Indian PUBG player but in doing so you still gave your unwarranted opinion which is false news because avdeeva played better than him
Utterly glorious! Bravissimo!
What a wonderful performance! The amount of character that he brings to it is just awesome!
As someone who can play Chopin grande valtz brilliante but not this one, I know that feeling of just smiling while playing.. chopins music makes you just smile while Playing it
i feel like non-musicians will think this man is crazy, but if you know music, he is a very amazing performer!!!
Heck, compare this man to Glenn Gould. No comparison to outward craziness.
Have you seen Lang lang perform?😂😂😂
@@johnsarkissian5519 Lang Lang is an absolute legend
@@kellyng2548 He is a legend! I’m just saying that compared to his facial expressions, Wunder’s facial expressions are practically unnoticeable. People also unjustly criticize Cecilia Bartoli for her facial expressions. Frankly, who cares about facial expressions! As you mentioned it in your earlier comments, the most important thing is that the musician is an amazing performer. Everything else is secondary.
Wer auch in der volkstümlichen österreichischen Musik "zu Hause" ist, sollte die herausragende Qualität dieses Vortrages besonders zu schätzen wissen. Chapeau, Herr Wunder!
Eleganz, Kultur, allégresse! - hinreißend!
What a performance!
Should of won it scandalous
He plays the piano like Tom in Tom and Jerry!
Every time I hear it I love it.

Working on this piece over the past few months I keep returning to this performance as the definitive interpretation. So beautifully played!

It’s Chopin not Mozart, bruh.

@@Smortnt oh 🤷🏽♀️
Pela primeira vez eu ouço a provável interpretação de Chopin dessa valsa. A melhor performance que já ouvi. Um sonho fantástico. Além de pianista é um poeta, pois as frases melódicas têm palavras quando ele toca. Simplesmente maravilhoso. Orientais não passam essa emoção.
Nice and with swing!
this is the most- awsome piece i've ever played. This video really helped me out!

A beautiful performance of a real Maestro virtuoso!

Good good good 🤩🤗😍
Better than Avdeeva ;)
In retrospect, actually, this is probably the best and most perfect rendition of this waltz to date.
Yes is real
Not better than Avdeeva get out of here
I prefer ZImermans version of this waltz
@@marshan1226 I understand that it ultimately comes down to preference, but in the case of this Waltz there can be no denying that this version is objectively better in almost all regards. Not least of which in technic and rhythm which Avdeeva heavily struggled with in the faster parts.
🤗 is so nice
One of the best 5 minutes of my life
Absolutely lovely
This is the best version of the performance of this Chopin waltz that I have heard so far. It is almost perfect. Almost... One of the few pianists who has touched Chopin's soul in this piece. However, a small imperfection crept in at 2:19. With the right hand, while holding the long note F with the thumb, it should have been played together Db with F, while it was played C with F. If it were not for this small detail, the performance would have been perfect. Many congratulations, wonderfully played nonetheless. ❤️
Fantastic
