Starbites is one of my favourite places to go in Accra for years now. I'm glad I got a chance to have an in-depth conversation with the Founder, Eric Andoh.
Starbites is going to be on my To do list when I finally get to Ghana. Thank you Ms. Ivy.
So glad that you posted this despite not having the camera man on hand. Another excellent interview!
Thank you so much. I was worried about people saying negative things about the video. I've experienced that before. I really wanted to get the story out so I'm glad you enjoyed it.

He has a vision to expand to other parts of Africa.
@@IvyProsper Yes, that is what we are talking about, Ghana the lodestar of Africa taking the continent into economic freedom.
Absolutely, the Black Star Nation.
@marrs g550 Papaye has a restaurant in New York city, but needs more of them set in West Africa and elsewhere.
Wonderful, so nice to see positivity, congratulations to the owners.
As a professional TV/Film Writer/Producer, I can assure you, it was fantastic. I love it. So glad you posted. As some of us say in the biz, make it do what it do. Work with what you have and make what you're working with work.
Thank you🙏🏽

He doesn't grant interviews so I was blessed he gave up some time to do this. Hope you enjoy it.

This was so authentic and inspirational.
Thank you for doing this Ivy! I'm really inspired by Eric, I'm going to run with his quotes. "Get advice and have an open mind"; "In Ghana, you can realize your dreams". Ivy, there will always be naysayers and those who are hard to please so no matter how good your product is it won't matter. But then there are also those of us who know things are not perfect but can appreciate your hard work.
Thank you. He really had some great quotes here!!
Wow he's really done a fusion with the menu. Apple crumble and custard Lol. I love it.

Great job Ivy. upfullness to STARBITES 100%
Thank you!
@@IvyProsper You are most welcome Ivy.
he is right, you can't move to Africa operating at the same pace you did when you were in the west, I live in Europe and when I go to my island for vacation, I need to adapt myself back to the pace of my island, its such a cultural shock that your mind needs to process the change when it comes to chaos and chaotic ghana is 5 times crazier and busier than my island, but because my island has the same type of chaotic pace like ghana I think I can relate my self with the pace of ghana, I can wait to move there!
@marrs g550 exactly, Africa is like my island only 20 times bigger and more chaotic, but the atmosphere is the same, despite us been developed we still have dirt roads, broken homes, but they are laid back as hell.
Inspirational
Thank you for the info and positive vibe.

Where's the video of the food.
That will be part 2.
I will be doing that video likely with the other owner, his wife.
Everytime i see starbites i think of starbucks
Fantastic, but why do they always leave out fufu and banku?
They feature banku and kenkey sometimes on their weekend brunch.
@@IvyProsper great. I'll visit when I come to Ghana
The Indeginous Ghanaian doesn't take advice. They know it all. That's why they are not successful. This man said something important. Take advice. seek counsel.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts
CHINA Vs USA In Africa take a look at this
What is the name of Star 🌟? The local name would be better in my humble opinion. Like “mojo bites” something like that. No what I mean? I don’t mean to be criticized the name. Star bites is a great name.
Magic Bites
Very close to Starbucks innit?
You're thinking deep.
But the design looks so much like Starbucks, it almost looks like a brand violation? One can hardly take a look at the emblem and not think that it was done with Starbucks in mind.
He should of been original ..Copying Starbucks...
It's not a coffee shop though. It's a full fledged restaurant.
