You should consider redesigning the side boards so you can mount the seats (boards) on the top of them, raising the seat height, 3-4”.. You’ll have better visibility and won’t feel like you’re sitting on the deck.. Also, raising the seats, you can mount the battery and fuel tank underneath opening up valuable space in the stern. Just a suggestion. Nice video.
That's not a bad idea. I'd definitely want the console to be higher. The way it is traditionally isn't that great for back posture in my opinion. - Chris
What do you think, crazy or not crazy? To accommodate my aching knees and better balance the boat I attached the rear thwart bench seat to the top of the side clamps for a 4" height gain, elevated the console by 5", spread the distance between seat and console by 3", and pushed everything forward by 6" . For material to brace the side clamps where the rear bench rests and to elevate the console I sacrificed my seldom-used always-in-the-way forward bench seat . The refitted interior looks good although the boat has not been in the water quite yet. Keep up your good work with the instructional videos!
Seeing how different whalers are set-up are always great to see in my opinion! I've seem someone use a hard plastic interior so they wouldn't have to worry about painting or varnishing it. It didn't look as beautiful, but they have a lot less maintenance year around. Thank you for your support, we appreciate it!
Great job with all of your vids. Thank you!!!
We appreciate the support!

I have the helm , but don’t see the kit for 11’ boston whaler. What do I need?
Do you just need the steering cable? I am unsure of all the things you have
