I like overpowering armor and DR with no armor strip or priming, but I think it’s still a perfectly valid to show weapon viability of lesser known weapons, especially when the weapon itself has other utilities and QoL. Like killing with ferrox or scourges’s primary fire in spite of their glaring weaknesses
For people who don't know please do NOT put status chance shards on your warframe for the Phage. This is actually a waste because of the way beam weapons work. Beam weapons multiplies the status chance by the multishot multiplier. With a 43% status chance and 24.8x multishot I focused the Phage beams and hit an enemy for 1 tick of damage which was able to proc 10 statuses on the enemy. With a 27.9% status chance I was able to proc 6 on a single tick of damage. Getting 2-3 tick in is very likely going to cap out the corrosive procs. The Phage is an extremely powerful but undervalued/overlooked weapon. Double green shards is insanely good on the phage as shown in the video but I personally don't recommend putting in status chance shards due to how quickly the weapon caps on status, you will get more value spending those red shards elsewhere.
the difference between 10 procs per tick and 6 per tick is absolutely valuable and worth doing for high status applications like heat/elec damage. As a person who's taken the phage to levelcap a few times, with both the damage types I mentioned, more status chance has always resulted in much faster kills, and you don't really have to worry about diminished returns for beams with high status for that reason. MS multiplying against your status chance is the exact reason building for so much of it is so good in the first place, and realistically what you'd be more concerned with is shifting the weight of your status to get more heat procs instead of your vir/corro procs.

Level cap is usually done for fun and the phage very comfortably already does normal steel path. Corrosive Viral Heat is amazing on phage due to the armor strips, bonus to health and tick damage. Roar/Faction mods also double dip into heat. A future update will also cap out armor values so players don't heavily rely on full armor strips for tougher missions. The highest level content I would consider is Deep Archimedian Dives.

Who is the clown saying you can’t strip and prime enemies? It sure sounds like ur having fun limiting ur weapon choices simply because some weapons aren’t good enough on their own without taking advantage of in game systems which are there for those weapons to still be viable.

Which is far easier because we use operator to bind the demolyst everytime, so click 2 is not annoyed at all.. But it is only for demolyst. I think the way( less boring way) is use toxocyst with corrosive and kill everything. Lol. And iirc, before this update( mean cant full armor strip with corrosive), there is aguy use boltor telos( because it is bugged there..) to do lv cap without armor strip and primer too
Its because literally any half assed build can easily do level cap with priming and armor strip, the whole point of build videos is to showcase the maximum potency of the WEAPON and not the frame.
