    Nice video 👍
    The Kuga is on my list as a replacement for the Focus hatchback I’m driving.
    Is it true that they use the same engine & gearbox from the Toyota RAV4 ?

      thank you. yes, that's true.

      No.
      It is Fords own DuraTech engine.
      Nothing to do with Toyota

      The same principle, but each has own system design and production. If You consider AWD system, the RAV4 uses only electric motor on rear axels ( through differential), while Kuga has classic mechanical drive to rear wheels ( through cardan shaft and differential), connected via electromagnetic clutch ( slightly better solution for some speciific offroad situations).

      It uses Ford's own engine and Toyota's hybrid technology altough from older generation. Also the AWD system is different, Ford has traditional shaft from the engine to the rear wheels meanwhile Toyota relies on an additional electric engine on the real axle.

    • @DrivingCars
      @DrivingCars  23 дня назад +3

      it's not check engine, it's deactivated speed warning

      @newtonmetereu196 23 дня назад +1

      It's not an check engine light, it forms part of the power meter that tells you the percentage of power of the electric and combustion units.

      It's Ford's own engine and the hybrid system is based on Toyota's echnology (that's why they're so reliable).

    Good video!
    It's also the only good thing.
    Buy Ford automotive? Better not !!!
    Why?
    - Mediocre build quality
    From >50,000km onwards, problems arise, among other things:
    - Paint bubbles
    - Hardly / moderate rust sealing!
    - Generally too many callbacks !!!
    (Injectors defective, various electronics, etc.)

      Over the past 26 years I have had 4 Ford cars, 2 of them I put over 100,000 miles on the clock. I had no issues with any of them apart from one faulty speed sensor, that was very cheap to replace. For me they have been very reliable cars…..as long as you maintain your cars properly they will do a good job.

    Warum wird denn nichts zu den Sachen gesagt? Ist ja wie ein langweiliger Stummfilm.
    Proč se o těchto věcech nic neříká? Je to jako nudný němý film.

      @DrivingCars  23 дня назад +1

      Es gibt viele Videos, in denen etwas gesagt wird, aber bei mir findet man nur Videos vom Autofahren. Ohne zu sprechen. Nur ein Auto.
      Videí, kde se něco říká, je spousta, ale u mě najdete pouze videa z jízdy. Bez řečí. Jen auto.
