Can hardly wait to try one! Thank you so much for a great tutorial!
You are welcome
It would be so awesome to have all that equipment you’re using.
I got my equipment piece by piece... when I started Leather crafting I only had a cutting mat, a regular cutter, an awl and a stitching needle... I was making only tobacco pouches back then...😊 See what is that you like mostly and start with that!
Quite elegant in its simplicity. Thanks you for sharing!
Thank you so much. ❤
Stunning. Thank you!
I am glad you liked it! Thank you for watching 😊
Simple but Perfect, Thanks again..!
Thank you Ahmed! That was the whole point! Something easy to make, but still impressive as a result! 😊

Roy's The Boy thank you very much!!!❤️
@@EleanaWorkshop you should talk in to the camera at some points as you have a beautiful face
Roy's The Boy 😋I don’t speak very well the language... that’s why I prefer to create ASMR videos
Love your work. Do you ever explain how you do your dyeing.
I get this comment about dyeing a lot! I show the process almost in every video I make, but still... I will make a video especially about this dyeing technique
Hey there, I am wondering what the cord is called that you use here. Is there a size for it as well? Thanks so much, fantastic video!
I edited this reply. Looks like above posts says she used leather? Shoe strings do come in leather.. I tried polyester shoe string but it stretched so no go. I am now trying ribbon.
Great tutorial. Is there a way to stamp onto leather without the press?
Thank you!!! I never tried it, but I guess if you secure the stamp in place and use a hammer will work.... at lease for smaller stamps...I will try it and let you know
@@EleanaWorkshop oh fab yes I’d love to know! I actually have a small hand stamp/metal tool that I must try!
The where make the holes and how to run the string is what I was looking for an answer for and what I could not find in other people's videos. Thank you for this video.
I am going to try folded 8.5 x 11 paper under the string. Any ideas of how to add stiffness to the spine of the cover?
Thank you for watching. You can glue and stitch a piece of leather on the spine
@@EleanaWorkshop Thanks! I will try that. ☺
Dramatic sip of water you took there haha. Nice style it’s simpler than binding the pages I may give this a go
Thank you! It’s a really nice project for beginners in leather crafting!😄
@@EleanaWorkshop Look like it! I’ve made a few things with leather on my channel but my friend wants me to make them a journal!
@@TheTranq I thing you should!😊
What kind of leather did you use?Thank you for sharing.
This is 2,3mm vachetta leather. Thank you for watching
@@EleanaWorkshop Thank you.

Ah man! I saw the video a few weeks ago. Did I miss the pattern download??
Westley Cary I am sorry... the pattern was available for free by September 22nd. More videos with Patterns are coming soon.

I use 2mm thick electric
What thickness of leather did you use?
Carol Lewis I use leather that is 2,5mm thick. For an A6 cover is fine.
Eleana Workshop thank you
It says the pattern isn't available anymore, even though it's not the 22th of September yet

@@EleanaWorkshop it's still saying it's expired 😅
@@ordnaelshideout i am really sorry... I think i fix it this time... we.tl/t-yT2XdH9UpG
@@EleanaWorkshop it does now! Thank you for your patience at getting it fixed 😊
Ordnael's Hideout I am sorry for the trouble. Happy to help! Happy crafting!
how is this a tutorial with no explanation of what's going on?
it's not! I just show how I make this leather cover! Anyone that has minimum experience with leather can do it!
@@EleanaWorkshop is that dyed veg. Tan leather? Or do you dye it yourself?
@@lumacava it is turquoise veg tanned leather. I just dyed it with the navy blue on top to give that effect
