- Today I review the Lencent FM transmitter device. Can something this cheap really work? When you own an older vehicle its nice to be able to connect your phone to the radio for hands-free use.

I just got one of these - short story:
1.) It works
2.) there is a lot of bass - too much, but if you amend the EQ on your car to boost the high/treble, it sounds amazing - the bass boost sucks, don’t use it if you actually want to enjoy what you’re listening to
3.) fast charge works - and static is low while charging (which was my biggest fear) - crank your phone volume, and have the stereo low - if you do the other way around, it will have a whine
4.) phone quality hands free sucks - don’t rely on that at all,
I’ve been a DJ for 12 years and trust me when I say the quality is good! I would be prepared to pay like 80 for something of this end-product sound quality
what do you sugget for a better option ?
can you only play radio through it, or can you play apple music through it from your phone?
does the Bluetooth adapter transmit the FM signal to the car radio in stereo?
Does it have a power button to shut off when plugged in
cool video just got an old car with no Bluetooth so this is great if it's actually quality
I have been very happy with this little thing. Every once in a while the Bluetooth won’t connect. All I do is take it out of the cigarette lighter and put it back. Resets it and everything works fine.
Any better options?
I have a 128 gb usb for music… will it work on this?
If you were to play music from your phone, is the quality better if the phone is plugged into the transmitter versus being connected via bluetooth?
I didn’t try. I have only used the blue tooth feature. The quality is good enough to have have the desire to see if I can get better quality by being plugged into it.

How did you know the channel number? For example the one you have is 88.9??
Find a station that is just static. For 88.9 was just static. It will differ based on location.

how about for example the transmitter was inserted at the port and the car was turned off, does the transmitter stays on or off?
Stays on you need to power it off.
Does it have power off button?
Yeah it’s on the side. You have to hold it down for a few seconds to prevent accidental power offs
The phone call sounds terrible
does it have on and off switch?
Yes on the side.
