Wow some slab crappies Ty! It's still "winter" here in southern Ontario. Got on the ice once (5 walleye, a redfin sucker, and a rock bass). I'm eagerly awaiting spring. As always Ty I enjoy your content, you always seem to land some monsters.
I'm glad to see you back there! At first , I thought it was the same video from 2 years ago. Nope. Lol you have a different hat and shirt... 👍 Different fishes...
I thought the winner videos were really good even though some of them were from the beginning of your RUclips days, they were still good to watch again you never cease to amaze when it comes to these giant, bluegill and Croppie, and whatever you catch, keep it up Bubba
Can’t wait for 3 days of 70. We got a foot of snow yesterday was wind chill was 10 degrees today all day lol. Awesome video bud Love the big crappie vids
@@TyPigPatrol Your welcome Bro! I enjoyed watching your content catching monsters from the beginning. Been your fan back then. I remember when you post about that monster Gar and those monster bass and even monster blue. Happy that you keep on growing bro! Keep safe always on your trips.
You have no idea how jealous I am of all your adventures..if you ever need a guy that's willing to do almost anything to help out a positive person chase their passions I would love to work on just about anything I see you do. Hope your dreams keep coming true.
Try this one time buddy take a tube and the lightest jig head you have and let the jigs fall slowly. Crappie 99% of the time eat something that is falling through the water. To crappie it looks like a dying minnow floating down. I thought you might want to try doing this it works great.
yeah, i like to do that, just hard to skip with it being really light, this was with a 1/16 oz jighead, i sometimes try a 1/32, still can skip it and it falls slower. did you notice most strikes were on the fall? Thanks for watching RR!
I know you don’t like to kill fish but I’d have some butter and lemon pepper on those slabs pretty quick! Not the gimpy one, I’d have let him go twice too 🤣
Nice crappie Ty. I caught a fish in the mouth like that was bleeding like yours when I brought him up. I think maybe they hit the piling or timber with their gills when they are fighting or something who knows. I’ve never caught the same fish in the same trip though. That was pretty wild.
My friend who doesn't fish moved to Texas, and after seeing all your videos I tried to get him into fishing. That got me wondering though, are most of the ponds like this catch and release only? For me personally the main reason I catch crappie is for food, but they are small and hard to find where I live. In Texas, are little ponds like this usually catch and release?
I heard somethings about when some fish start to spawn they rub against the ground and other fish and will mark them selves in certain spots you would think its the same fish but it isn't idk how true it is or not maybe someone with more experience can chime in on the topic
What difference does it make where you catch them? Lake, pond, river? A body of water’s a body of water. Not to mention it is not clear at all how big or small this body of water is. Don’t be a d-bag.
Hey TY, your crappie jigs work amazingly. I tried what and chartreuse and baby blue gill and they eat them up. I noticed I was catching more consistently and also much larger 6:55
Crappiest day ever : ) thanks for sharing
Thank you brother! s
Been cool here in Florida too Ty. Waiting for the warm up and spawn. Tilapia are starting to bed. That’s usually the first sign.
All a bass needs is 60deg water temps and they are spawning 😮
@@Fishingmissions827where I live the water rarely gets below 60 degrees and we have two spawning cycles
shouldnt be long now huh!
My favorite time of the year! Spring! I want to see some big bass Ty!

Funny thing is if there are bass fry around there is a 100% chance those things got that big and keep there appetite filled eating them!
yes, so true man. also found they really eat tilapia fry a lot
Crappie must have short memories!
hahahaha so true!
Beautiful fish - Thanks! 👍
That fish is beautiful !
You are the KastKing. Lol Great video, as always, my friend.
What was the back ground noise . Not bother sum but just curious ... Great video as usual ... Well the more I listen it sounds like a lawn mower ??

Just got back from throwing some casts. Guess its still a little too cold in Dallas for catching anything yet.... Booo
When the gills bleed ,they very easily die
It's been rough down here in SC. If it's nice , there's been so much rain, it's all flooded and looks like mud 😢
Nice bait and switch. Where is the "Monster" that eats bass for breakfast?😂😂😂😂

That is funny. Your boy Stash had the same deformed cat caught twice through the ice
dude so good
Where is this ?
What jig were you using?
A big one

That’s crazy!? I would think after getting caught the First time it might be in shock and stay away from everything??? Guess not
Hey buddy
There he is!
What state are you in
😁🔥🔥🔥🔥
What state?
Still beautiful crappy
Thanks Terry!
the second fish looked really scrawny
barely alive, then I caught him again haha
how ya dern
I can't believe no one comes along and fishes the place out. That's what would happen here, I guarantee it.
Fish tore his gills when u lipped him and he shook I belly grab crappies bc of there soft mouth.
The fact you catch these giants out of some pond in a housing area is highly unimpressive.
What difference does it make where you catch them? Lake, pond, river? A body of water’s a body of water. Not to mention it is not clear at all how big or small this body of water is. Don’t be a d-bag.
