- One of the greatest rants ever by Big Mike, killing the Jets for the Tebow decision. At times, I was laughing my balls off. This video was taken with a SD-TV, and to get it to you as fast as possible, I made the quality a little bit shitty.

@@ladistar Tebow wasn't a great player, although I think that there was possibility for improvement (he showed it in 2015). However, if the Giants don't win SB 46, Tebow is in Jacksonville instead.

The Giants are the cool older brother who gets the girls. The Jets are the awkward younger brother who's not as fortunate.
The Jets are the team that got a girl in the fifth grade and haven't done shit since, occasionally getting to second base but never going any further while the Giants bring in a steady stream of girls sometimes even a hottie. Occasionally the Jets get a little cocky but are quickly put in their place by their peers while the Giants look on and laugh. As bad as the Giants can be, they never quite reach the depths of the Jets who seem to forever be trailing behind them for eternity.

The Jets have been cursed since after Super Bowl 3. Joe Namath must have conversed with the Devil and he said: If the Jets win this Super Bowl, you don't have to give them anything else for the rest of my life. Boom. It's led to clusters of bad coaches, bad quarterbacks and bad drafting. Perhaps the stupidest decision was to draft Kyle Brady over Warren Sapp. If the Jets had Warren Sapp, they would have made the playoffs from his rookie year to the time he retired.
It's hard to be second-banana in the NY/NJ area unless it's hockey but hockey is Canadian so that doesn't count. :) The Nets, Mets, and Jets, generic in name and lackluster in the game.
John Wagner you are an idiot. The jets are a GREAT franchise and have made excellent drafting choices. To this day, I still think Brady was a better pick than Sapp. You are not a true Jet fan and NEVER will be.
The Mayans were wrong about the world ending but Mike Francesa nailed the Tebow "experiment."

I know the comment is old but FYI the Mayans never said the world was gonna “end” that was just something the mainstream media just made up. The end of their calendar just meant we were entering a new time. A period of the “awakened” never once did they say the world was going to end.

8 years later and they’re the pinnacle of success, teams envy us. Ownership is top notch and they put people in power who have made brilliant decisions in coaching and player development roles. They have a franchise QB like none other, the best RB of the last decade and studs down the list at WR. Also the defense is a table saw, opposing offenses shutter in fear when the check the schedule and see the NY FOOTBALL JETS. Or not lmao.

I know Francesa hates the Jets, but he's right on here. We don't need Tebow, he isn't that good and yeah people come to me and say "Congrats on getting Tebow". What do we need him for, he adds no dynamic.
Well, the Jets went from being the team of NY to forgotten in just the span of a year. Not that they were really the "team", but the Giants had missed the playoffs 2 years in a row and the Jets went to 2 AFC title games. I hope the Jets keep Fitz and he's productive or they get a decent QB if he departs.
That's a;ways the way it is, just like the Mets. The Jets have these little waves where they are good for a year or 2 & get buzz, but the Giants like the Yankees have been around for a hundred years & are the teams in NY. I say this as a Mets & Jets fan.
It sucks watching the Giants and Jets play so inconsistently but at least the Giants win a SB once in a while or look decently competitive. The Jets got oh-so-close two years in a row and have been mediocre to bad ever since, I was more disappointed last year than I was the previous four because the Jets HAD it and then fucked it up. The only good thing is that Wilson is out for the Seahawks.
Gosh, what a time for me to be reading this when I see Collins not having anybody up in the bullpen while Colon gets rocked when every goddamn game counts at this point. Bowles finally showed some emotion, too bad the Jets had to be down 1-2 with a tough slate of games coming up and Fitz looking like utter SHIT. Fuck the Mets for going with Tebow, a second-division signing if anything from a playoff contender and fuck the Jets for not changing their gameplan at any point against the Chiefs.

I think they more or less brought Tebow in because the Giants won the Super Bowl. NOT because they had "Empty Seats" The Jets are sold out for the next like 12-13 years.

What a has been Francesa is...reality check... the Bills just added Mario Williams. Does anyone really think Sanchez can out run Williams. Sanchez will most likely be put on disabled list the first time the Jets play the Bills. Then what? Who will be the quarterback if Tebow is not there to pick up the pieces?
