    John Martin (born John Martin Scripps, 9 December 1959 - 19 April 1996) was an English spree killer who murdered three tourists-Gerard Lowe in Singapore, and Sheila and Darin Damude in Thailand-with another three unconfirmed victims. He posed as a tourist himself when committing the murders, for which British tabloids nicknamed him "the tourist from Hell".[1] He cut up all his victims' bodies, using butchery skills he had acquired in prison, before disposing of them.

      If your in a d cat you get release on temporary licence (rotl), so you can integrate back into society. This is at the end of your sentence and enables you to get a job so you can hit the ground running when you go out. This period will be at the end of many years in prison or nearly automatically for certain first time non violent offences such as traffic offences which carry a custodial sentence.

      @robotaholic 5 лет назад +4

      @@Nitrogen786 I completely disagree and think the lack of blood and evidence from dismembering the body outweighs the difficulty in dumping an intact body. It is very hard to clean up a murder scene including the carpet, pad, concrete, every crack and crevice and even the inside of the drainage pipes in the bathroom, kitchen, etc. You also don't have to yell with all caps.

    • @robotaholic
      @robotaholic 5 лет назад +4

      @@IamInfinity10 if you dump the body in the ocean at a very remote location the odds that it's going to float and someone else will see it is very small yet by cutting the body up and getting blood in your house and in the crevices where it is impossible to clean it is more intelligent to dump the intact body instead of dismembering it.

      @@robotaholic as long as they stab the body in the stomach and lungs first then weigh it down its OK as it will not float,, the problem is when a body is weighted down in water it then starts to bloat with gas and air so most times will rise up again in the water, if you have pieced the things on the body that fill with air then this will not happen,,

      Because he was on the run out of the UK and situations he had caused here, he had to get away & had to make money. His wife left him & he went nuts into drugs big time, always owed money to people he did business with and ending up taking risks & getting nicked or running off out of the country.
      He was in Camphill prison with my ex years ago they were both orderlys, a privileged job position that allowed them to be out of their cells all day long together working. So on top of them both being in for drugs and living in & coming from the same areas of London & Portsmouth & Isle of Wight they became good friends and model.prisiners who were often released on home leave.
      I heard from people we knew in common years later that he was hanged in Singapore and we couldn't believe that it was the same fella killing people.
      He was a nice older guy and my ex wanted to stay in touch with him and was very disappointed that he left the country. He wanted him to travel with us!! Imagine.
      That's why after 23yrs he is my ex because that man got me in nothing but trouble!
