ive said this on my instagram but ill say it on here too since more people are on youtube! ive noticed a lot of people misusing the term “weeb” in a postive light when it’s usually a negative term and referring to me or themselves as a weeb because they think the term weeb means someone who likes anime and manga.. the term weeb comes from the word weeaboo which ultimately means someone who is OBSESSED with japanese culture often regarding it superior to all other cultures, EXAMPLES of a weeaboo would be someone who wants to BE japanese and ONLY wants to date japanese people and things like that. ok thank you for reading!! hopefully this informs some people, NO SHAME if you didn’t know what the real term meant >_< !!
