Hello :) Vincas Kudirka created the national anthem of Lithuania. The words of the hymn are carved behind the statue. Every year on July 6, all Lithuanians in the world sing this hymn
Great and Amazing I was there with my thai friends last summer, only fo r 3 days.. also a day tour in Trakai. Really love Vilnius - and more explore in May 2024 wirh other grupp of my thai friends. They are very excited for seeing BALTIKUM.. For me so it will be great to visit Baltikum agian. People is very freindly to us, tourists. Best Wishes from STOCKHOLM - SWEDEN 🎁🎁🎁🌲🌲🌲🌲
Its absolutely the most beautiful city of the Baltics. In my opinion its in the top 3 of the most beautiful cities in the world together with Saint Petersburg (Russia) and Sigishoara ( Romania). Greetings from the Netherlands
No. Too many ugly Soviet apartament buildings and even modern economy apartamen buildings are ugly. Roads are poorly planned, too much forest in the middle of the city makes city too wide spread, individual housing blocks are too chaotic, overpriced real estate, crumbling old buildings, too heavy traffic for a city this size, ugly airport and bus and train station, no stadium.
You have made a really nice video here. An enjoyable and immersive tour that captures the beauty of Vilnius. Appreciate your work…have subscribed to the channel. ❤️❤️❤️
i'm of asian descent and i'm planning to study in Vilnius. I dealt with more racism then i would have liked during my time in western europe. Do you think this would be an issue in the city of vilnius? Thank you for the video
So sorry to hear that. I feel your pain 🥲I was only in Vilnius for few days so my experience is quite limited. I’ve not had any negative or racist experience in Vilnius but again this is based on a very limited time in the country. Good luck with your studies!
Asians usually respect other countries so we respect You guys too. I couldn't imagine racism against asians so come here and dont be afraid. Maybe some drunk not educated people could say something but maybe even they won't.
Ryan Pelle. If you want to educate people then it is helpful to check correct pronunciation first. Google Translator has that functionality although admittedly not for Lithuanian. They are other sources available. Do not apply English pronunciation rules as a default. This does not always work. Embarrassing: Vingis Park.

Always explore early in the morning. Crisp air, bird sing and feel of city ( or any place). Beautiful!
Agreed 👍🏻 also less people around :)
where were all of the people? very lonely looking......
I filmed this very early in the morning (to avoid the crowd) 😀

Not sure to be honest.

Hi Ryan, I’m going there to Vilnius next week alone. Is it safe there for Asians? 😅
Hello. I didn’t feel unsafe the whole time I was there. Friendly locals :) enjoy your trip. It’s one of the most beautiful places in the Baltics.
@@RyanPelle ok great. Salamat. ☺️
