So what do you do for rest and recovery? How many hours of sleep are you getting? What's your calorie intake,.do you do anything special? As we age, how important do you think protein is,. especially when strength training?

I get at least eight hours every night. And if I can catch a nap, I'll do that. I eat more than 3500 cal a day easily. I don't do anything especially unique when it comes to my food. I just tried to make the predominant amount protein. And get a fair amount of carbohydrates just to keep the energy up for working out and every day living. I think protein is pretty important but not quite as important as everyone thinks it is. I've gained a lot of muscle eating less protein than people recommend. However, I do think when you get a little older, you should probably eat more protein as your body is less efficient at processing it.
