This man has a depth to his musicianship and his humanity that most of us will never come close to achieving. To sit here and nitpick about shallow things is just a reflection of some of our own insecurities and shortcomings. I had the honor of performing with Barry Manilow more than 30 years ago, and his music has not only touched a lot of lives, but it has literally saved lives. He is an inspiration to the world, and his work will live on in our hearts no matter what you think of his cheekbones. Thanks for the memories Barry. This fan loves and admires you in the deepest, most sincere way.

I put MY DREAM DUETS cd in my car 3 weeks ago and I am STILL playing it day-in and day-out. What an entertaining cd! And this Whitney Houston duet is a killer! Beautiful job, Barry Manilow!
I am a lifelong fan like so many out there. Barry is so lucky to have so many who indulge his every whim over the years. I don't think he has put out an album of new songs that even attempt to sound like his hits from years ago since the '80's. But God love his fans, they buy whatever he makes anyway.

I am from the UK and was so happy that we were able to watch this session online last night (twice!) and share the excitement with our friends from the US and around the world. We had a great time watching it together. So excited to hear this album in it's entirety. Barry was awesome and Carolyn was fantastic too! Thank you so much QVC!!

Thanks for putting this up here. Barry is my favroite musician and have seen him 28 times all over the US. I have all the QVC albums he has put on sale. I had to work today and could not see this. I love him and will till the day I die. He is so talented and have loved him since 1973 when he started out with his first album Barry Manilow that I still have. Love this special.

I'm sure he still can write and produce music of his own...but why should he? He has achieved everything more than he ever dreamt of !
I listen to those beatiful oldies again because he has brought them out from the long forgotten files , even those which were not so popular like in his last album "Night Songs". I thank him and love him for all he has done and still does to the music !

Barry Manilow is getting better all the time. His voice is getting stronger and mellower like an old vintage wine. His duet album is far better (because he sings other people's classic songs which are harder to accomplish successfully) than the recent duet album titled "Partners" by Barbra Streisand.

Gotta give him props for the Whitney Houston duet.it was cool to hear how well his voice blended with hers.i really didn't realize how amazing her vocals were on that song.it makes you appreciate her more as well as the others on the cd

Barry should have did a duet with Donna Summer since she recorded his song "Could It Be Magic." It would have been a nice tribute to Donna. Oh well, maybe he's next duet CD.
They did do it as a live duet in one of his concerts.
I know I've seen them live on stage on youtube, I meant on a studio album. I would have love to hear a duet from the two of them.

I just received Barry's ( My Dream Duets) n Outtakes from Live in London. I have played it over n over. I especially love him singing with Jimmy Durante, John Denver, Whitney Houston, Louis Armstrong, n Andy Williams. I think this is going to be my favorite CD of Barry's.

Hi Barry I had a bad day and sharing it with you makes me feel better as I have told you I had knee sugry on my left knee every time staff they upset me. Then its worse on Joni who has me fprpt let tell you I was fine on the machine but forget when it came to bending my knee I got so upset that when I walking I had to stop to get myself together love your biggest fan susie

I'm with ya .... when I was 3 1/2 years old, my half sister went out and got the 45 of Mandy .... the month it hit no. 1 .... so I've been with him all the way ... and it literally Kills me to see him looking like this. I mean ... it really it hard to even look at him. :'(
It's those damn cheek implants or injections that all the plastic surgeons are talking all the celebrities into getting...

it's great with wonderful orchestrations and singing tribute to Frank Sinatra ..; that " Old
blue eye ".Here it's the ....baddest variety .
I agree with Steve, Donna Summer would've been an amazing choice to do "Could It Be Magic" since they both recorded dance versions.... (hey, maybe I'll do a remix)
Another would've been a duet with Karen Carpenter and my song of choice would've been Rainy Days and Mondays

Yes, but as I have said all along, the reason why this Dream Duets album does NOT work is because the vocalists that Barry is singing with are only (obviously) singing the melody line and Barry is harmonising to them. That is not how duets work and it all sounds disjointed and odd.

Barry has always been one of my most favorite singers. His music makes my heart sing.
Why, Barry, did u mess up your face. You were good looking before, now u look terrible and do u no that your voice has changed as well. Please find a good plastic surgeon to repair the damage. If you don't have one. I have one that specializes in repairing bad jobs.

Why do they do this to their faces? Kenny Rogers is another one who has destroyed his face and he was a good looking guy. It's sad that a BM who is and has been adored by millions of women for decades is so insecure about losing youth that he ruins a pleasant face. When will these celebrities learn and realise that this shit doesn't work and they look worse.

He's looking more and more like Liberace with age. Face lift? Botox? Cheek fillers? Nobody is going to move those cheeks! And that wide vibrato and difficulty in his upper range...Yes, he's 73, but technique can fix that!
I've loved his work in the past, but this album is horrible. Time for retirement.
