I do know that in Germany it is most definitely illegal. But you could take the shots from a side behind the kids so you can't see the faces. I believe that would be legal (at least in Germany). @IcyFlame (again, only speaking for Germany, but I can imagine that it is the same for some other countries), the faces still belong to the kids and not the photographer.
Never fear TheFancyEvil, he said in the video that he'd be standing behind it pressing buttons. And if they're young enough (stupid enough) to try and steal it without their parents present, well... That's kinda messed up.
You need to include a way to prevent the same kid from having more than one candy. The machine is so fantastic that every single kid will want to press the pumpkin button over and over again, so you must include a function (maybe using your remote control) that will disable and enable (at your will) the possibility for the same kid on triggering for another candy multiple times. Or else, you will run out of candies on the first kid. ;)
