I like the braidout. I never really did those when I was a loose natural. Looks good. Also I will check out the Cantu wave mousse. Though I must say I am not trying to get caught up in products as that's one of the reasons I started my locs. I am just short of 6 months.

Water only works too. I do both methods. It just last longer for me when I do add a small amount of mouse since I have fine hair. When I do use water I need it to stay braided longer to make it last as long.

Also I like the length of your hair. I think this is the length that I am going for. If not, just a touch longer. And then stop right there.
