Personally, good tutorial. I have watched a lot of videos on RUclips and get straight to the point and do a very good job of explaining. none of this 15-20 minute intros and then and look at what product I'm advertising. Nice job well done. Thx
I was just scrolling through to see if someone else noticed that. Yankee fan here and thought why does that symbol look weird. Makes total sense now. Also if the vinyl was on right there would be no need to cut through the logo. :) Great job overall!!
Fantastic idea and great craftsmanship! Thank you for the idea sir! I will build myself a set using this plan of yours! I appreciate your creativity brother!
This is a really great design. I like the idea of making a light-weight set and this is the first 3/4-inch plywood design I have seen. The cup holder is a great feature. My first set I made very light weight. Problem I encountered was that I had a player place their hand on the side of the board to push themselves up and they broke my support board. I am nervous about the hand-holds you installed on the sides. This ei where my board broke. These hand-holds took most of the strength away.
One day I am going to locate carriage bolts and nuts (I prefer wing nuts, but whatever the preference), with a left hand thread so opening the legs tightens the seal. One side left handed thread, the other side right handed thread. Nice job.
Nice I made a few in the past 2 yrs only problem I had was a lot of bounce cause no room for middle support and bags kept staying on board because of cup holders
That is a very creative solution to having the coffee cups travel in a condensed form with the cornhole set. Do you find that the beans bags ever get caught on the extensions or hitting your drinks if the tosses are too long? And now after using it like that, do you think it’s still worth having it on the back of it?
There's just enough space behind the boards that if bags hit that exact spot you can tell they would have gone off and remove them. Package wise I still love having everything as one unit that folds together instead of needing separate cup holders.
Great idea 👍🏻 but I don’t understand what keeps it from falling to the ground? Seems like if you had two bottles of coronas it would fall to the ground. Am I missing something?
@@tommyboydiy1484 nice 👍🏻 my son wants me to make cornhole boards for his wedding and I’m thinking that that is a good idea with the drink holders because I’m sure a lot of people will be drinking and need a spot for their drinks, lol
@@tommyboydiy1484 Hi I just emailed you about the cut list, I decided to try and make your cornhole board for my son for his wedding day party. Thanks so much.
ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS!!! I just SUBSCRIBED also. You have a very calming and quiet voice so your not startling people. I don't understand why people have to be so loud. Liked the idea of cutting the wood strips out of the same plywood. That had to of saved big time, just a little more time involved and much lighter. How much do you think one of those weighs? Thank you for sharing. Althea
What were the measurements for the legs and the cup holder legs? Also what were the measurements for the holes for the bolts? On the frame and on all 4 legs
very nice boards bro!! I only have one question. That cup holder will prevent bags from coming off the back of the board. We play 3 or 4 times a week and 1 bag either way will change a game. Now I understand some people dont play for money or have tourneys and just like to have fun which is wonderful but has this been an issue for you.
Thanks for the comment. That was part of my design concept. The way we work it is the slide into the arm would of went off the board without it there so we just eliminate them if they happen. Kind of like a bounce on. They are a couple inches from the back of the board top so it only occurs with a direct hit. Again thanks for asking though
yeah you need to re-design them. the cupholders that close to the back of the board would be a no go for me. they need to be a bags length away from the board at minimum. good try though
It’s a nice design but its to low to the ground. Regulation corn hole boards need to be 4¨from the ground to the top on the front and 12¨from the ground to the top in the back. FYI.
Did you happen to make a cut list for these? I'm wanting to build myself a set but I'm not certain for the pieces that build the cup holder part. Thank you!
great build, too bad you placed the vinyl upside down, the NY should've been on the bottom, it's not meant for you to cut a hole right smack in the center of the NY🤨
Watching this, I kept waiting for you to catch yourself about to install the wrap backwards and it to be a "funny" part of the video. But man, you did put it on there so smooth. Yikes.
I’m kinda pissed. 😂 I’m making a set of these for a good friend and just wanted to keep it simple. But noooo, now I watched this awesome video and my buddy’s getting a great set of cornhole boards. Thank you for sharing this cool design! BTW; Marines or law enforcement? Just curious. You seem like one of my brothers. 🫡
Funny how whoever hits the cup holder brace gets to stay on the board and gain a point instead of sliding off the board...smh..back to the drawing board bud..
Thanks for the comment. There is a slight interference there but it's a few inches past the back of the board as I did design it that way. Sometimes it does occur with the perfect throw but the teammates there can judge the speed and make a call if it gets stuck. Doesn't happen much at all to make the design useless
@@tommyboydiy1484 the cup holders are a bad idea... bags going off the back can get caught up or hit them and cars bags on the board to move... or a player can accidentally hit it while the other side is throwing
I will add scoring strip on the cup holder when i build mine. Great video.

Can't help but think you put the vinyl on upside down
you caught it. Total brain fart rushing through it
The vinyl is on right, it's the board that is upside down. Lol

Very nicely done sir !!! Thanks for sharing your thoughts and videos Rodney
Could I suggest going one step further and mounting a metal plate in front of cup holders and making it a magnet scoreboard by lol
Great job love it
Ha thanks. I did use a magnetic score piece behind the cup holders on my newest ones
One day I am going to locate carriage bolts and nuts (I prefer wing nuts, but whatever the preference), with a left hand thread so opening the legs tightens the seal. One side left handed thread, the other side right handed thread. Nice job.
OMG these are awesome. Great job!!!!!!
My son wants to make a set of these in wood shop. Any way I can get necessary information so he can attempt this project?
Thanks for sharing. Well done.
Nice I made a few in the past 2 yrs only problem I had was a lot of bounce cause no room for middle support and bags kept staying on board because of cup holders
those are the 2 issues i was thinking about as i was watching the video. hard to not add these though. they are a great idea.
Great design, I’m going to steal your idea and make myself a set. Thanks brother 👍🏻🙌🏻
You should put a second brace under cup holders for score keeping. Solid idea though. I’m going to build a set of these

The nuts get tightened on each bottom and snug it up. Believe it or not even hitting with a bag doesn't do anything

Thanks for watching. I haven't weighed them but probably 30-40 lbs each I'm guessing
Sticker up side down?
I would like to do this but only thing i can think is my kids with their wild ass throw knocking the drinks out lol. Love the work though keep it up.
Thanks. You'd be surprised though the cupholders are pretty sturdy even when hit dead on

Great job, but kept hoping you'd fix the upside down vinyl.
Ha, I was obviously rushing and not paying attention. I noticed it when I was finished
Tommy where did you buy the graphics?
Is it just me, or is the vinyl wrap upside down??
Great video! What was the final weight?
Great question, I never actually weighed them. They are 26.8 pounds each

I have a cut sheet if you would like to email me at tommyboydiy@gmail.com

Yes, shoot me an email
Can I get the measurements for the cup holder pieces?
Thanks, if you email me at tommyboydiy@gmail.com I can get you a cut list.
Where did you get the vinyl's at?
On Etsy actually
What parts do you need for the cup holders?
The two side braces, a top with holes, and a skinny support piece under the top to hold drinks from going through
Where do you get your vinyl decals?
I order off of Etsy. Bunch of sellers offer cornhole board decals
That's really cool, amazing my friend. Hope you can find time to drop by also in my place. Cheers. God bless us

Definitely upside down vinyl.
I can't believe anyone would use power tools and not wear safety glasses
Not good...the top corners now act as a stop where you installed the cup holders... Bags are supposed to be allowed to slide off not stopped.
