This reminds me of the deck I'm playing in the link event which is Avramax turbo with Fire Prison + Blue-Eyes Jet I'm only at Plat 4, but I kept winning by opponent surrendering when they either see Avramax or doesn't read Fire Prison or doesn't read Blue-Eyes Jet
@TheDuelLogs Duel Logs u should add Gingerbread house to this deck maybe scrubbed raid as well denko and anti spell fragrance power of the guardians and couldron of the old man wall dissruption good cards but awesome deck none the less :)
Wave Motion is too passive. Cauldron kills slower, but it can heal you to stall longer and you get something out of it every turn. Wave motion getting popped means you built up all those counters for nothing.
I think the ruling on floodgate need to be fixed, Like tributing, fusing, synchroing, linking and xyz-layering, should be treated as remove the card first; then it can game state check, if it can't be summoned all card involved will be banished facedown. like floodgates is really bad for the game anyway, this can really nerf them.
Wow this version kinda sucks lol, not enough card draw. You just want to power cycle to floodgate + ojama + fire prison with stuff like upstart and into the void

I tried this deck, turns out all three of my Cauldrons were in the bottom 10 cards of my deck
if you're having that issue, add Wave Motion Cannon as well. It may be slower than Dark Snake Syndrome, but it doesn't make you lose to your own deck.
Watch cat is special summoned then banned at end of turn to search out and place a continuous magic card like cauldron or wave motion cannon

How come my traps don’t activate until my opponent plays a card or effect? I can’t activate during their draw phase

Don't you need at least two more cards for into the void to work, you already set all your spell and trap so you just brick on it if you draw it
