    Вот наглядный пример, когда у человека и руки ростут из правильного места и голова соображает. Уважение и восхещение. Просто заглядение, а не работа.

    I really like the idea of separate ports to the table sections to be attached when smaller/larger items are to be routed. THANKS!

    hi . i read through your answers. i was looking for what material and how thick you did use to build this setup . You said it is HDF 20mm . Where did you get that thickness from please. Im looking online in uk and maximum here is 6mm. Like you bed. Thanks. ps. i know this is old now but HDF part is most needed.

    Great vaccum plenum who's inspired me ! What's the size of your gasket (or the size of your channel grid) ?

    • @ralfklaassen
      @ralfklaassen  9 лет назад

      Eric Belanger for this little cnc table i used 6mm mossrubber gasket in a 5x5 mm channel... on my cnc table i use a 10 mm gasket in a 9 mm widht and 8,5 mm height channel.

      Ralf Klaassen I wonder why you plug your vacuum intake with a bolt since you have an inline valve ? Is it to keep the debris out of the channel ?

    • @ralfklaassen

      Yes ..it is to kep the debris out of the channel

    Работа зачёт. Но есть пару вопросов. Зачем на каретке косынка справа от шпинделя? И скорость обработки можно в несколько раз повысить. Это же до утра можно делать эту работу!
    И наверное нитрокраской хорошо бы мдф покрыть после обработки . Иначе большие потери в давлении будут.

  • @Agamimg360
    @Agamimg360 8 лет назад

    O k So now for my dumb questions. Am I understanding the video right is the suction on this table zoned? If I'm understanding it right you can run suction to only a part of it at a time if you want or the entire area if you need it. I like it as this was what I was thinking of doing after watching several videos on here about how to build one. I was thinking of several layers that the air would be pulled through as it worked its way around the table. But I wasn't sure how to form these channels in a round or square grid. and 2 to 3 layers on top of each other as it pulled from the outside in or from center as it worked out. Any advice on this would be very good. Good video!!!

      насчёт твоего вопроса... размер не имеет значения потому что будет зависеть от таго какой мощности у тебя полисос. тоесть чем больше полисос каторый создаёт вакум тем больше размер стола может быть.
      глубина паза тоже не важна.
      всё просто.

    Hi Ralf, what is reading on your vacuum gauge when you using your table? I made similar table and i have similar vacuum pump but when vacuum is not perfect (less than 30 inch/hg) vacuum pump makes loud noise and starts smoking after a while... So i don't know... bad pump or bad gasket? Did you have that problem? Thanks!

    • @ralfklaassen
      @ralfklaassen  9 лет назад

      Yes the pump smokes a bit when your oil level is above middle. but it makes almost no noise.. its verry quit.. so thta i dont know. last week i used the pump for 3,5 hours straith and no problems.
      the vacuum reading is verry different from the material used.. plastics i have -0,8 to -0,9 bar .. if i use wood it can suck treu the wood and give a bit les reading.. 0,5 below i will not thrust it anymore and use a clamp(s) also

  • @ShaggyRmz

    Nice work! Is it possible to do the same with MDF board ?

    • @blakelibby2140
      @blakelibby2140 8 лет назад +1

      ShaggyRmz Yes it's possible but I wouldn't recommend it. MDF board allows airflow to flow through the board which defeats the point of milling all the vacuum slots. Usually you have a vacuum table like shown and put MDF board on top, then add your material to the top of that to route. This way, you can cut through the material into the MDF board and not damage your vacuum table.

    • @ShaggyRmz
      @ShaggyRmz 8 лет назад

      I'll try to make MDF vacuum table cause there is no HDF in such thickness and i saw some other guys making table out of MDF so Ill gave it a try... if that does not work ill buy Aluminium table... :) Thank you for answer !

    • @blakelibby2140
      @blakelibby2140 8 лет назад

      HDF board isn't the only material you can use either. Some hard composite materials will work fine like Phenolic. Either way, pretty sure you would be wasting your time on the MDF vacuum table.

    • @ralfklaassen
      @ralfklaassen  8 лет назад

      +Simon Capriles its HDF High-Density Fibre board or HDF board is pressed with a high density. HDF is not a brand name, but generic. The wood fibers are dried and connected by means of resins with each other. This is in contrast to hardboard, wherein the wet fibers are pressed.its oil-temppered.

    Leuke vacuumplaat :) Heb ik ook ooit gemaakt - eerst uit MDF (wil natuurlijk niet), daarna kunststof. Kunststofversie was best last vanwege smeltend materiaal. Ik zou dat HDF wel eens willen proberen, maar waar koop je dat? Ik kan het (ook bij navraag) als particulier nergens kopen?

      Als het klopt is de fabriek failliet en word het niet meer gemaakt. ik heb gelukkig nog een paar volle platen over en ben daar erg zuinig op. HDF is echt GEWELDIG spul. Veel mensen vragen ernaar wereldwijd. Snap niet dat het niet meer gemaakt word.
