Soon after Holgerson arrived in Lincoln late in the season, Rhule said in a press conference that Dana was mostly finding out who could play. He didn't say "finding optimum ways" to use people or some euphemistic phrase to mask his meaning. Rhule uses language very well and very carefully. He suggested that upgrades were needed, and soon enough Holgerson confirmed that in his own press conference. Rhule said it, and Rhule meant it. Davaney said it and meant it, and so did T.O. Good coaches say what they mean and they've thought about what they say very carefully. Then good coaches deliver. That breeds trust among staff, players, and supporters. It's pure Nebraska to say, "Say what you mean, and mean what you say." If you say you'll be somewhere at eight in the morning, you're there. If you say you're going to upgrade, deliver.

I cannot name 12 coaches I would rather have than Matt Rhule.................not an elite game manager but truly a master CEO of the "new college football"

I liken him to Bobby Bowden, a man of faith who loves to teach and show boys what it is to be a man, and ain't a damn bit scared to speak his mind (with respect) a master chess player

I think the coaching changes definitely played a significant part in which players left and the amount of transfer portal players.

I'm worried the offensive line isn't going to be able to hold up for the season. In my opinion the OL (including the OL coach) is not up to Big 10 standards.

The cupboard is not bare at left tackle. But if we lose one of our top two at left tackle we won't be able to stay fresh in that spot, UNLESS we get a youngster to step into the second team spot. Do we have a dude to fill that role? I dunno.

If there was ever a pro program of redemption. It's this one, lol. Rhule literally jumped to another pro program. He jus didn't know what college had become, lol. Now that he's there....2 years in? It's a pro program if not more. Now what 🤔
