Great video, Dr. Charles! My lumbar myelograms never reach the cervical vertebrae - very interesting to see yours extend to that level. I am also using 0.3mL/kg but the patient is in lateral recumbency. Do you ever consider cisternal myelograms?
I have 2 questions. Do we need to wait for the same amount of CSF (the same as amount of contrast) to leave the needle before dye injection? When we are watching the contrast getting to the cervical area - did you put calculated amount of dye or do you keep putting the dye continuously? I'm curious because I heard about many myelo complications (paresis, epilepsy) for some time after examination. Thanks for response in advance, great video :)

Cool!
Thanks, Aubrey - it was a very lucky shot! Often it does not go straight in!
Dr. Charles-
Do you do your epidurals for Orthopedics the same as this video?
Epidurals are a bit farther caudal at L7-S1. We don't use fluoroscopy for them either!
