I think my favorite thing about Vox and Val as characters who are in a ship, is that they have the potential to end up as better people because of interacting with Charlie and the Hotel _and_ each other. Better people but not better enough to end up redeemed-possibly better enough to realize they want actual redemption, if nothing else, but out of the “selfish” desire to keep the other safe (or, at least Vox would probably have that as a shifted motivation.)
This hurts cuz it’s so true but I’m also on the theory that in season two Val dies cuz 1: husk wants to save angel from him and 2: Alastor would have husk go do it cuz it would bring vox’s power down 😭🤚
Both are amazing ships! While we do see a good deal in the shows of ships, comics like these bring life into the side characters. (Not an actual anti fur I just don't want my friends finding me)
It’s so adorable yet has so much drama, its also cool to see their relationship before Velvet was part of the team And personally I call the ship “Bugzapper” (Cuz moth and electronics… FUNNY!)
I hope S2 will be as good as these fanfics. The fans showed more of what we think with the little info they got from Viv herself. Sometimes I kinda think that show didn't exactly match up was because within the 5 yr waiting period the fans showed more interesting stories to where Viv might've needed to revise a lot to not look like a copycat of the fans. 😅 I mean seriously, people work fast on just tiny info from the main author themselves. She'll say one thing about Alastor and we'll have 5 fan comics in the next 2-3 days.🤣
