Dirt Booster really works though so it's well worth the price. Works great in the clay soil of AL & GA. Helps to break it down so your grass looks so much better.

@@cynthiarafferty7662how often would you recommend using it on clay soil? And how long before it becomes noticeable? I’m doing my first overseeding in the fall and am wondering if I should use it now in my heavy clay soil, or wait for next year.

@@Commander_D I put down a bag of Dirt Booster twice a year during the growing season for grass. Dirt Booster will not burn grass it just puts the microbes in the soil to help break up the clay. It really does improve the soil.

Doc, I was wondering if anyone else has a Cereal lawn besides myself. My Bermuda goes snap, crackle & pop now. Right now I am not planning on cutting it nor throwing out any fertilizer due to the heat & drought. Thinking about throwing out some Chicken Crumble and Superjuice. On city water so watering the lawn is not possible. Any suggestions? Commerce Ga area

My dad bought compost from a farmer. Put it on the lawn. Next year we had 1000 watermelons. Be careful with compost that has seeds. Tomatoes may be great but not 1000 of them.

Yea you can. Doc has a video on using it during summer heat stress. Worked well for me. Live in southern NJ, tall fescue, sandy soil.

DirtBooster yes... the compost I would not unless you have weak spots to treat.
