I've learnt more about this game from your video about this boss than my entire time playing S1 and S2. This boss definitely forces me to think and experiment with different teams/equipments/artifact/timing/position to get high DMG score. Thank you for your video!
So a hero to keep in mind is Gumm, greatly overlooked but he perma keeps the boss dealing 20% less damage, has an AOE that hits three times for witchs and crown, applies atk down a little as well. Just a solid unit for any ice and rally team Also Gloin is amazing as he is a crown and witch's holder and perma makes the boss deal 30% less damage too Eches too but her skill and passive together also make her reduce the boss's damage by 10% permanently too, and she removes team debuffs
Hey Gorax! Your videos are fantastic! I have two quick questions that I am hoping you can answer. From your rally team, is there any hero that can replace Huberg? I own all the epics and rares from that category, but my only legendary rally is Alton. What is the purpose of Huldork? What type of hero do I replace him with? Just any debuffer?
Huberg is a monster here due to AOE DMG, Alton is good against single target and I don't have him so can't really compare them - maybe some other rare/epic AoE rally hero? Huldork is here for Blind I believe - sorry its been couple months since this happened on my server. The Crowd Control Huldork applies reduce boss dmg taken by -30% if I recall correctly.
@Gorax perfect, thanks! I'll just need to build a handful of rally heroes I suppose to test vs Huberg. My usual go to is Welby, but Welby gets his damage from spamming his ultimate with Rally which likely isn't going to be the best strategy for such a timing based DPS phase this boss requires.
@Gorax fair enough! Maybe manually him would work well to take advantage of his ability to spam. Shame I just hate manualing in this game lol. He's already built, so it won't cost me anything to give him a try. Thanks!
Rose has cleanse and attack Down and there are not many others who do with that affinity. You could go Gillian who has cleanse and def up. This would mean however you lose 2 stacks of the dmg increase on the boss

I don't get how your thunderbolt team survives, I have literally the same stats as yours and Perkunte and Nissa die 3 minutes before the end of the fight. Basically Vivuc's battle skills goes ANYWHERE except for when the boss ults.
@@Gorax Did you actually manually calculated it? I tried but alliance bonus of 15 to haste ruins any attempt to calculate precesicely, besides he's stunned all the time, I think that stops recharging of battle skill as well. Basic Vicuc with 5/10 would actually be the best, this way every AP would land exactly 5 minutes before boss ult, but alliance +15 bonus RUINS everything.
@@Gorax Yeah in your video both Natan and Vicuc have no resistance, but I then watched your attacks on streams and saw they resist. Too bad you didn't show the exact stats/gear, but in any case it didn't help. But then I switched to your positioning and all of the sudden I managed to scrap 205 mil on a first try, even though my formation was fine, everyone were in Natan's aura. Go figure, this is what I hate about S2 boss, so much annoying randomness.
my necrotic team with those 2 damage dealers doesnt do a lot of dmg though...i have different support but still...the rest are easier to build...about poison i went with jathalea

for the burn team, how you manage atk down from mekkatorque? since in ur team didnt have any single clean debuff or block debuff?
I play with it, burn is still doing a lot of dmg
What is the placement of the teams? Also how is your Shainactan initial recharge time down to 11.2 with 43 skill haste?
You can see most of the placement in previously released videos. Rally and Poison will be covered eventually

Maybe Vicuc has different haste value?
