Dear Tyson i non live in tahiti and when i look at your vidéos i remembrement all thé goodbye times i splendide to wait for trains in Calgary banff fields it is so great to see That again Thank you and well done
Vancouver Island has many things but it doesn't have this. I have fond memories of one time sitting high up on a pullout south of the Nicola Valley interchange with Highway 1 looking down on the tunnels and trains in the Fraser Canyon. Makes me want to rent a van and go camping out there to watch some transits before I die.
I watch your videos to get my train fix because they took up the tracks in Newfoundland back in the 1980's. Such a short sighted decision now with all the tractor trailers on our highway. I remember as a child putting copper pennies on the track to see them flattened.
The Newfoundland Railwsy was narrow guage and unlikely to ever turn a profit. The NL Government is responsible got any mismanagement of the funds provided by Ottawa.
Goodness, I always get really nervous seeing the trains hugging the hillside and going through the tunnels and rockslide protection areas just hoping there's no rockslide yikes 😮😊❤
The first train on the opposite side of the river had 2 locomotives being 6 axles each (12 axles for both) and the train detector said 854 total axles..each train car has 4 axles, so 854 axles - 12 axles = 842. Now 842 divided by 4 = 210 cars.
The train on the other side of the river with two locomotives is on a 1% down grade for the entire journey from Kamloops to Vancouver. The locomotives barely have to work.

Pennies!? Have you ever tried loonies and toonies! Haha
@@TracksideTyson Only quarters for my part as Loonies and Toonies didn't exist when I was trying that, 4+ decades ago.
