Vanilla raspberry and rose petals Strawberry and lemongrass Blackberry raspberry and hibiscus Mango lime and coriander Kiwi and passion fruit Apple with cinnamon and Cardamom These would be the flavors I’d wanna try first!!!
I'd love to make a rainbow fruit leather. Lay down stripes of strawberry, pineapple, kiwi, blueberry, and black cherry then cut them crosswise for a snack my nephews would love.
I’m working on a pear wasabi, carrot -Cardamon and beet-blackberry. I have all this pulp from my juicer but finding it difficult to add 200g ($15) of ultra stick to a 600gr of product. That’s really expensive, or am I not looking at this right. Great job guys John
I think swirling together two batches would look really awesome. I guess the challenge would be in getting their consistency to match so that the two flavors dehydrate evenly. Maybe try peach and raspberry. Banana/passion fruit. Lychee/blackberry.
It will depend on the final hydration and drying time. We've made some that have lasted for a month. If its too high in water content then it could mold.
there's no added sugar so it's the natural sugars present in whatever fruit you choose, and you can use the sugar numbers from the fruit to figure out if it's too much sugar
I'm definitely thinking Mango and tequila

Mixing some Tajin in with a mango fruit leather comes to mind for me as a fun flavor to try.
Mango strawberry fruit leather!!
Mango is the best!
That’s so much powder to be eating as a thickener. It mixes in; but it’s still in there.
Wow, even more scoops.
You wouldn't eat it all in one sitting. 🙂
Clementine tangerine and crushed black pepper.
Mango, coconut and ancho chili.
love those ideas!

That is the sample size. It is more economical if you buy the larger size.
Lychee! That would be delicous!
love that idea!
Can I make passion fruit leather by keeping the seeds in ?
Yes you can keep the seeds in if you like
We've made fruit leather from our plum tree in the past - this seems a bit more fool proof. So I'd likely try plum with this.
give it a go!
Tomato fruit leather! Place on some focaccia, top with some melted cheese & sautéed mushrooms = pizza!
great idea!
Thank you
You're welcome!
I think strawberry kiwi would be a great flavor.
absolutely!
Lemon rosemary or strawberry basil, perhaps???
Both excellent options
Rose apple and blood orange
love it!
Strictly for grown ups: I think a Negroni flavored leather, or a Bourbon peach smash.
We haven't tried putting alcohol in the fruit leather yet... 🤔 but may be in a part 2
That’s a lot 😮
In the title there was no sugar added but a whole lot of other powder
But still looks so delicious 😋 ❤
The Ultra-Stik is what's holding the fruit leather together. It looks like a lot but is very light by weight
How many pack did he use so i know how many to buy because my batch will be that much????

a striped/patterned fruit leather might have to be next on the R&D list
I would like to make the pineapple roll-up
Enjoy!
Only thing left in my garden are Rhubarb and Blackberries

What preservative can be used for shelf stability?
We don't do much on preservatives for shelf stability and commercial sale
How many hours we should keep them in the oven
Depends on your fruit, but probably at least 4-5 hours and then check for doneness.
Any idea how long this fruit leather will last? Wondering how big of a batch I can make at once without having to toss if we dont eat it fast enough!

Does this contain to much sugar for a dibetic

You're talking to a Maine based company so... yes! 💙

Why not just use honey??
Removes added sweetness, also more control over texture.
This is lit. I been eating candy for a while and need to stop. Kinda feel my body going through some changes.
This is a great recipe to sub out candy - all fresh fruit!
