This is the Los Alamitos Creek Trail in San Jose, Ca. I love beach cruising, but never tried taking them out on the sand yet. Just usually coastal trails or bike paths. Enjoy your new Rads, i think you will love them.
My spouse and I just got our RAD e-bikes just as you shown in this video. We excited to take them out on trails like you were on in the video too. Where was that? We live on the coast and thought of riding on the beach. I agree with your review too. Thank you.

Great video! What size is your extender handlebar please? I’ve had my RR 6+ for almost 4 weeks and just hit 300 miles! I LOVE LOVE this bike! I’ve actually used this bike for my locals errands instead of using my motorcycle!
Good job on video. I will say rad customer service gets an A+. Michelle had a small issue that they had talked about sending us a new controller with. The controller was on back order. But when she had a additional issue, I spoke with them on a Thursday as we were getting ready to leave Friday morning for a road trip. They said it took them a while to see what they could do as they were trying to get me a new bike by morning. Of course I knew that could not happen. But what they did do is have another bike sent that arrived about two days after we got back. We did have a back up bike for Michelle to ride during that road trip. So I have to give them an A+. Again, good job on the video.
Great review. What are your recommendations re accessories. Besides a mirror I see some people like the seat and suspension upgrade. And what are your thoughts on the suspension?
I use the Suntour seat post suspension, and it is one of the best decisions I have made for a comfortable ride, along with a good seat. I also raise my bars to get a more upright riding position. This is done by either a new set of bars that have a nice rise to them, or adding a stem riser. It all depends on the bike. For me the most important thing is to be in a comfortable riding position and not leaning to far forward like you would do on a regular mountain bike.
Being the more popular version of the RadRover 6, I am sure their marketing team only sees sales numbers. I am starting to see it go on sale, though. Not the discounts we see on the highstep though.
They are the Meachow bar end mirrors. Here is a link to them so you can check them out. amzn.to/3qmA3AK I like them a lot as the mirror does not vibrate when riding giving you a clear view.
I wish the main display was a bit brighter. On sunny days its hard to read and its noticeablably dimmer than the PAS display right next to it which is fine in the sun most fays
Nice video, however I have had the worst customer service experience of all time! Even the "RETAIL" store in Salt Lake City won't answer their phones! They just say leave a message, which I have done several times in the last two days. and I still have yet to hear back!! My last 2018 Rad Rover 5, never had a problem getting customer support. My issue is the front light and tail lights will not come on, but the brake light works. The lights did work when I first got it, (1 WEEK AGO), but now they don't work. When you turn off power, the headlight does flash, but that's it. Anybody have this kind of an issue?
I may have not made the initial comment but I do agree and will share my experience. I bought my Radplus6 last week of July after seeing your videos. Long story short the battery was defective and they had to send me 4 more in total before I got one that worked. One of which was the wrong model battery. Didn’t get to test ride my new rad until end of September, 2 months after I ordered it. At least they got it working for me eventually but I didn’t appreciate the hoops they made me jump through and waiting on emails they said they would send but I never got. With all that said I do say I love the bike and haven’t regretted getting it.
That is pretty bad, but glad they finally got it right for you and you can finally enjoy the bike. My experience with customer service and a warranty issue was great, but maybe I just got a person who really cared about the customer.@@ryanpander3192
From the Netherlands here, test riding the RadRino 6 this coming Thursday. Can’t wait
Let me know how it goes, and how you like it.
@@theridewithlance changed my mind because of the battery I'm looking at the Lankeleisi MG600 Plus
I have the radrover 6 plus for over a year with 600 plus miles. This is an awesome bike with no problems. Nice video.
Thank you. It is an awesome bike.
Another great video Lance, keep 'em coming please!
Thank you, and I will.

Don't like the fact that the step thru costs a lot more than the step over, not fair for older, shorter folks. Seems like age discrimination.

I think one really nice color display for both speed and PAS levels would be nice. At least as an upgrade item.

Sorry to hear that. Hopefully, they can help you fix the problem quickly and you can get out and enjoy your ride.
Their customer service is garbage for a lot of people who have issues with their bikes.
Can you tell use about your experience.

A little costly for some.
I would have to agree.
sounds noisy
Most of the noise is from the knobby tires, or some chatter when hitting an abrupt bumps.
