Will there be an MC996v6 video? The 6th generation outweighs the previous 5th generation by 1.8 ounces according to Tennis Warehouse, so it would be interesting to see what exactly that extra weight is contributing towards.
He also might have switched due to his endorsement deal. Not saying you're wrong, just saying he recently concluded his contract with Nike, so him switching to a new shoe isn't necessarily him finding the greatest shoe ever this late in his career.
@@OnyxZ28that's terrible if he wears the crappy ubersonic. Those shoes almost finished Zverev's career. Yes he stepped wrong but I doubt it would have ended so bad if he would have worn something else, like a gp turbo, barricade, lotto raptor, whatever of those type
Great video as always! I'm definitely interested in these. Might be more for the dubbs channel but I would love to see a video of the Babolat SFX evo or even old SFX and I saw your Tennis warehouse podcast where they asked about the Sketchers Viper court elites, I think you just reviewed the pros though and it would be interesting to see the elites or other sketcher's pickleball shoes. Speaking of Babolat, I noticed in your 2024 tennis shoe guide there are 2 different entries for the Jet Mach 3 and I was wondering what was going on with that?
Happy New Year! Do you suggest these for someone with a high instep? If not, what do you suggest. I’m now using the new Eclipsions. While they fit, I do get a little bit of ball of foot pain. Perhaps I need a wider toe box.
I bought some Move Gameday Pro insoles & used them in my LeBron 21s for the first time, just doing bball drills & shooting around for a few hours. Is there a break in period? It really beat up my feet. The arch felt too high. The padding felt too thick, my pinky & big toe were rubbing against the upper. And I already go up a half size on all my bball shoes. The weirdest thing was, it gave me a blister underneath my forefoot going down the middle on both feet. Kind of wish I had tried the Gameday instead, seems like people tend to like those better.
He cites the recommendations for pro insoles if you have foot like these like that, that's why I bought game day insoles instead. And oh boy, so far it's very comfortable to me
@@jdabelado716 I had a feeling I should've gone with just the Game Days instead, but I got caught up in the, "higher price = better product" logic. I guess it just really depends on each individual's feet though.
Hi Zach! I’m a baseball player who loves basketball shoes. I do a lot of compound movements like squats and deadlifts, but also plyometric and explosive exercises. Do you think a basketball shoe that’s low to the ground is fine for that?
Great video as always, Zac! Would you say this model is similar to the Court FF3 in terms of its balance between speed and stability? I find it interesting that not many professional players wear this shoe. The only player I've noticed wearing the first generation is Caroline Wozniacki.
So it's rather thin and light underfoot, yet it's still average weight. I think it's safe to say adidas has a serious weight problem with their tech on both tennis and basketball performance shoes ...

Nike also launched vapour 12 premium… awaiting for it’s review😅
What do you think of the Curry Splash 24?

You too!
The fact that Grigor switched for the first time In ten years from the Vapor 9.5s is a ringing endorsement
I thought he’s wearing an ubersonic ?
Grigor is wearing the ubersonic 5.

Can anyone tell me the name of the flame socks?
Thank you for the review Zach! Sounds like a shoe I might consider. Happy New Year!

How does this compare to the adidas solematch control 2? I have plantar fasciitis, with a lower arch and wide feet.
Apples and oranges - much different shoes, the SMC is a much more maximalist shoe as I talk about in my review of them- just depends what you want

would these be a viable option for outdoor court basketball shoe?
So, what do you define as a “bulky orthotic”?
so do you prefer the cybersonic and solematch over the ubersonics? it basically sounded like you were a bit underwhelmed by the uber and barricades
Yup
Would you recommend these for outdoor basketball as well?
Sure
Wait. Did they increase the forefoot stack on these ? The gen1 was too thin.

I wouldn’t be surprised to see more in this one
Doc Zac, can you review AR 2 Snowman?
Zach, will you be reviewing the TYR court trainer.
Is that a GR10 I see being playtested?
Great review, any recommendations on walking shoes? For like, standing and walking all day?
Hopefully, Dr responds, but I have found New Balance 1080 v14’s are very good.
Have you did Foamposites yet?
Hey doc! Is it still effective to tie a runner's knot even without the extra eyelets on the end?
Not really
Do Liren 4
I spy pops wearing the GR10s!
I cannot confirm nor deny my fathers choices of fashion
Nike Vapor 12 next
Li Ning Liren 4 V2
Who among the pros are endorsing this?

As much as I usually love adidas designs, the gigantic logo stripes are too much here. Ugly!
