Before I heard it, I wondered if this song and DIO would fit together. I was surprised at how many parts of the lyrics fit, such as the "reincarnation of the first star" part which seems to refer to Jonathan, and the "liar" playing the charismatic big shot even though his roots haven't changed since young time. This cover song is just perfect and ultimate!
Normally stretching the voice to its pitch limits makes it sound really skippy and robot-like, but most of the time for this it just makes DIO sound like he’s yelling with his entire soul to give the best performance.
