What a great little rig Jim !!
I really love it, it’s a fun little rig.
I had a Suzuki Carry for about 4 years as a run about, never let me down. Pity about the cab mats and drivers seat, fall apart if you look at them. But I would have another.
My cab seats and mats are in way better shape than I expected. Oddly enough, my door card covers have about disintegrated though.
@@JimsEquipmentShed its seems like its only the drivers seat that looks like its been eaten by rats my pass seat was perfect.
We don't have snow in my country... But on gravel roads, it's better to keep 4wd engaged if you have it and your car can use it (if it has a centre differential).
It significantly improves stability, so honestly, I wouldn't switch it on and off so frequently.
Myabe, you have a reason for it. I don't know.
While I’d does increase stability on loose gravel, it doesn’t increase stability on dry roads.
What it does do on dry roads, is increase driveline wear, and binding.
If there is no reason for the 4WD to be on, I leave it off.
That’s why the lever is there.
It’s to help you get past places that normally stop a 2wd vehicle.
4wd is not to be confused with AWD, that does increase stability in any conditions.
4 wheel drive too? What is the top speed and handling?
@@longhuynh7887 Handles fine, it’s a regular street legal vehicle in every country except the USA apparently.
It tops out at around 65, but I only drive in town, so I don’t even need to go that fast most of the time. The 4x4 is handy here in the snow.
Who says you need a big truck to get a lot of stuff done and have fun? I would daily drive the hell out of that truck!
And I do. I have a pretty short commute, so it’s perfect for me.
Cool! What classification of motor vehicles does this unit get registered as in MA? In South Dakota I could register my ATVs as motorcycles. Unfortunately I missed living in SD by 15 miles. The MN DNR licenses ours.
Just garden variety “pickup truck”.
It’s bed is actually longer than Marys Tacoma……
@@JimsEquipmentShed My crew cab Duramax is 6.5 ft. I bet your truck box is even longer than that.
@@1crazynordlander plus, I have no wheel wells in the tray. It’s all flat surface.
@@JimsEquipmentShed Pitch that idea to Detroit, Jim. The biggest thing since the tailgate that folds down into steps.
@@1crazynordlander If they could just do a couple of things, and not feel compelled to do ALL of them at once, maybe we could buy a truck for under 89k.....
bro,, the camera stabilizer is not playing around !!
Not terrible considering it’s just an iPhone just jammed behind the headrest….
Gyro tech is no joke. And very impressive to throw into a phone
I daily mine
They are a lot of fun!
