- Want to catch a Latias OR Latios in the wild? Then you're in luck!
During the Hoenn Global Tour, both of these Legendaries will be available to catch in the wild, depending on which badge you select!

100% agree, you'd think they make it a little higher. But in the original games it was hard to catch them

I caught a shiny and 100 iv latios.... How lucky am I. Also it was a few months ago when it happened.

And is the catch rate 100% if they're shiny ?
It is a 1/20 chance of being shiny, but no, they won't be 100% catch rate. Think of it like a community day shiny

@Thomas Lachapelle were they 100% catch rate for shiny?? In that case they should be the same but I heard it's not

I found a Latios and boom, shiny one, caught it, but I did not took a picture of it and now I cannot find any of them on the radar and there's a temporary mission to do that, any tips?
If there's a lot of Pokestops near you throw on an inscnese and put a lure module on them to increase the chances of it popping up again! That's the best way to increase your chances if your staying still. If your moving try to go to an area with a lot of stops like a park
my first latias was a 3006 cp and it flew but after the task to screenshot latias i got a shiny one is it rare?

They have a 2% catch rate so it'll be tough to catch unfortunately!

No, they would've randomly popped up in the wild. But if you took a screenshot of one you would've had the chance to get another one
Me who got both of them from the mega raid:
I got 3 Latios, 2 Shiny but man I used all my pokeballs
I found 1 towards the end of the event and literally went through like 30 pokeballs just on that one 😂
How to choose the badge I'm not sure where to find it
You need to complete the Primal Rumblings Research Tasks, once you complete that you'll be given a ticket and when you use it it lets you pick which one

Never mind I'm only level 23 I'm too low level to catch a legendary
You can get a legendary! Level won't matter, just as long as you have enough people to do raids! But the wild latias and latios will still be available for you
