Just swapped my Dissipator build barrel out for one of these and decided to try out the RCA adjustable gas key to fine tune it for suppressor use. Runs awesome! Really need to do another more modern Dissipator build…man yours looks awesome!

Yes there are some selling 3d printed magwells, etc but the major ones, to my knowledge, sell injection molded stuff. Just look for the injection dot that's often left behind or flash from the mold. Dude, its several hundred thousand just to have a mold made(and often, that's just the first mold with only a few cavities. After testing, r&d, etc, you buy the BIG mold ((production mold)) with as many cavities as they can squeeze) and that's not counting the facility, wiring the place up where you want machines, buying raw plastic(whatever blend they use). Then most mold manufacturers will send a tech with the mold to set the mold up, get it dialed in and teach you or your employees how to run the mold. My dad used to travel with molds all around the country and a few times out of the country. Its a multi-billion dollar industry. They have a plastics convention trade show in Germany every few yrs to show off the latest tech. My dad said it was the biggest convention center he's ever saw.

Im planning on building out a dissipator for myself when i move back stateside and just had a question. When you added your handguard, did you have to remove the A1 retaining device that i saw on the barrel on the brownells website? It seems like youd have to fenangle with that barrel a fair amount in order to get it built out the way you did

@ I’ll 100% admit I am a trigger snob, and haven’t liked it at all since I’ve got it, I’ve got like 2k rounds on it and will almost always buy the cheap Geissele over this trigger any chance I get. In fact I usually buy the cheap Geissele to swap out for this trigger in whatever lower I am running the MBT in because I don’t like it at all. It’s better then milspec I’ll give it that, but not much and not by a lot

I've got other triggers, but for some reason, I just like the way it feels, I shoot fast and accurate off that mushy reset. I won't buy another one. But this one just won't break, or was it broken when I got it 🤔 🤷
