I would definitely say that, yes! A lot of people here collecting Japanese and American games. Mostly because PAL games are crippled to 50hz and widescreen. But other times, because they look better or have been cheaper in the past.

Tror att prisutjämningen kan vara att japan börjar få sin nostalgivåg liknande till hur tyska spel alltid är dyrare i tyskland, vi i Sverige oftast söker SCN och svenskdubbade spel och filmer osv i kombination med att t.e.x min kompis köpte alla sina japanska grejjer där för typ 20 år sen. Beklagar igen att det va fel kontroll men hoppas lådan, manualer och priset mejkade upp för det ;)

Cool video - I sometimes find stuff cheaper outside of Japan. Especially heavy hitters, but you need to have connections and know sources. when it comes to games fair - at least in Germany most sellers pull their prices out of their asses however....

Eller hur, Micke! Den var inte RGB-moddad men tyckte faktiskt den såg rätt okej ut med komposit ändå! Haha är det så!? Låg produktionsbudget? Då tar jag det som en vinst att jag fick en mintig originalkontroll med istället! :D

Yea, he told me it was brand new. It was really impressive. Video-quality looked way better than the SupaBoy too. Well he imported it from Japan. So maybe its not in the market for US/Canada yet. Oh interesting. Metal Fighter, nice. I didnt know about this game before he showed it to me. Thanks :D
Cheaper than Japan? Perhaps not as a rule, but it’s great being able to find both common and rare Japan games in Sweden. Cool that you got a complete Castlevania V for a good price, I’ve found good deals here from time to time too. I ‘ve never been to Retro Gathering, really, really hope Retrospelsmässan will be back in Gothenburg this year. Best game on the table is an excellent question, fun to see what the vendors appreciate most. Oh, Metal Fighter! I got it cheap as a loose cart, a pretty fun clone of Atomic Robo Kid. Easily the best Sachen game I’ve played, faint praise I know ;) Tom & Jerry (NES) “best” game? That’s a terrible platformer! Bubble Bobble and Zelda II are leagues better;)
