    This video was incredibly helpful. The last tip at the end was exactly our issue (neck straps) and this helped us a lot - thanks!

    2:41 really fixed it for me since my little baby boy (3 months, 61 cm long) kept being really deep down and his head being so deep that he disappeared 😅 Now it looks perfect! 😁

    Thank you for all the helpful videos! I’m currently in the market for the best hip carry carrier and have been looking into this new Omni Breeze. Would you suggest this one over another? I love the look of the embrace but I’m looking for the most comfortable as well as good support as my 12 month old is not a small baby at 28 pounds. We have a cruise in a couple weeks and he has outgrown the happy baby carrier that I used when he was small. Any advice is very much appreciated.

      Thanks for your message. If you're primarily wanting to hip carry, I'd recommend the Scootababy. It's perfectly designed for supporting little ones on the side and fits nicely from around 6 months to 3+ years. Carriers like the Omni are fine for occasional hip carries, but the straps can tend to slide towards your neck so it's not the main feature I would highlight. The Ergobaby Embrace tends to fit best for the first 9 months or so, so I wouldn't recommend that for a 12 month old. You can see the Scootababy demoed on my video here: ruclips.net/video/vWJKtjXQwxM/видео.html I also retail them via www.southeastsling.co.uk/scootababy

      I watched your tutorial and the scootababy looks amazing but unfortunately I can’t seem to locate a retailer in the US. 🙁

      @@amberd521 Oh that's a shame! It was originally a US company but was bought quite a few years back by a company in the UK. I'm not allowed to sell them from here to the US, unfortunately. You may be able to pick one up pre-loved? Just check its V2 or V3 as the first version was quite narrow

    The Omni breeze is kind of a pain to use at first, and especially for those that have never used a carrier before. Once you get it adjusted just right for you and get use to the process of putting in on with you baby in it, its just grab and go. I actually purchased 2 of these. One for my wife and one for myself. Im 6ft 230 pounds while my wife is 5'4" 140 pounds. we have very different body types and having to constantly adjust to different bodies is the worst part of this carrier, so we just bought 2 of them. I must say I do love it with our 2 month old and she usually fall asleep while tucked in close to daddy's chest while I go about doing business. I use to giggle at people wearing these things, especially men but now I get it and wouldn't go without it. There are just so many things a carrier is more conducive for than a stroller.

    Hi, i really love watching your videos. I know you have already done a video about the Ergobaby 360 with the velcro waistband but i was just wondering if you could please do another video about it but in this video please could you undo the whole velcro waistband a couple of times to show how loud it is and talk a bit about the velcro?

    • @SouthEastSlings
      @SouthEastSlings  3 года назад +1

      Hi! Thanks for your feedback. That's no problem. Do you mean the original Ergobaby 360 with the velcro waistband? My tip with this is to leave it around your middle, so you can take it off at a distance from baby so they're not disturbed by the noise (my eldest didn't like the sound of velcro, although I know lots of babies are fine with it).

      @@SouthEastSlings Thank you so much for the tip and i look forward to watching the video when it's done. Yeah, i'm talking about the original Ergobaby 360 with the velcro on the whole waistband.

    • @SouthEastSlings
      @SouthEastSlings  3 года назад

      @@danielpickford4125 they did replace the waistbands on the original Ergobaby 360 carriers with buckles after a year or so (presumably because the Velcro was loud). I have demo videos showing that carrier. What specific info/answers to questions are you wanting the additional video to include?

    • @danielpickford4125
      @danielpickford4125 3 года назад +1

      @@SouthEastSlings I was hoping the video could be all about the velcro if that's okay please. Like undoing the whole waistband a couple of times to demonstrate the sound of the velcro, talking about what's good and not good about the velcro and what you think of having velcro on the waistband. I hope that's okay to include in a video but if not please don't worry.

    • @SouthEastSlings
      @SouthEastSlings  3 года назад +1

      @@danielpickford4125 ok. I’m just not sure how useful that would be as they didn’t make Velcro waist for very long (and the Ergobaby 360 was replaced by the Omni 360 quite a while ago). What is it about the sound you’d like to know? My videos are very much instructional - showing how to use a carrier safely and comfortably - rather than my personal opinion on features. The Velcro used is very strong and all Ergobaby carriers are thoroughly safety tested. The sound of the Velcro is obviously a personal preference. As I said, they replaced this a long time ago and all have buckle waistbands (similar to the one shown in the video above).

    Is there a way to make the head area more snug if it’s too loose?

    • @SouthEastSlings
      @SouthEastSlings  2 года назад

      Thanks for your question. Make sure that the flap piece that goes along the top edge of the carrier is folded in (like in the video). The closes the gap behind baby’s neck when they are little.
      Also make sure you pull the strap straight down behind you, before crossing it. This will lock it in place on your shoulder and keep it wider. The wider the straps are, the more snug the piece behind baby’s head

  • @rachaelhayton5518
    @rachaelhayton5518 Год назад +1

    Thank you for the video! Why do you cross the straps across your back instead of just having them on each shoulder and fasten the strap between them?

    • @SouthEastSlings
      @SouthEastSlings  Год назад +1

      No problem. Different people have different preferences and different flexibility. Some like to have the straps crossing, as it spreads the weight more across the back. Others like to have them straight - either clipped behind the neck or clipped lower down (passing the clip over the head before tightening). My other videos demo all of these options and talk through them.
