I want this! I need to see who's scratching up my car. our parking spaces are tight but I think someone is doing it on purpose and I think this will catch them, You can even here people talking by the car!

Same here but my scratched you can tell someone did it out of jealousy & hate. I just wish there will be a smaller camera so people won’t know my car has a camera.
With indicator lights off, the cameras are too small to notice from the outside but there are some who want to keep the indicator lights on to keep vandalizers away. I'm in that camp. I rather see you come up to my car and change your mind and catch you hesitating. Unfortunately, the two incidents I recorded, they did not see the cameras and they hit and scratched my car. Fortunately, it was caught on video. Surprisingly, one was a relative!

Actually, the cameras come preset to handle dark tints. You can adjust the light filter directly from the app if it's picking up too much light. Bit.ly/750-900

1. It's powered by your vehicle's battery
2. As long as you are receiving 2 bars of wifi, you should be able to connect to your home wifi.
3. It was designed for overnight video coverage.
4. It senses motion and car movement. You can change the sensitivity at any time through the app.

Would this product void your car warranty if you used the obd connector for power ?
@DJAYPAZ OBDs fall under the fair use clause. It was mandated by the U.S. government, not the car companies. Any oil change facility, power measurement, or power supply device can use the OBD.

Can these be programmed to send a message to your phone with live footage. It would be even better if you can then using the cars speakers to warn off thieves

With the upgraded model handling even more features. The manufacturer wants the cameras wired directly. They did simplify the wired installation with pre clipped fuses you connect to your fuse box. It takes less than 4 minutes.

Is it 24hours? I have a coworker who's been on me and I want to protect my car.
This is one of the main reasons why customers are buying our vehicle camera vehicle system. @Purefaith 777 IR for these types of cameras are only meant to view inside of the vehicle's cabin and not outside through the windows. IR reflects off the windows and back to the camera. Hazing out what you are trying to see beyond the glass.

Only downside is early mornings with condensation on windows. Another con is dark tint, theres a difference no denial.
There is a difference! The cameras are at a warmer operating temperature than the windows, which keeps the immediate area free from condensation at all times. 2nd, the camera system was designed with tinted windows in mind. The cameras can see easily through dark tints at night. If it's not to your liking, you can always adjust the light exposure for certain times of the day or night.
@@HomeRestoredSecurity the warmer area produced a free area of the condensation about the size of a coke bottle cap if that. It was not enough to suffice a proper view.
I understand they had the tint in mind, but it's definitely not a view as without tint. I hear that adjustments can be made for lighting. I've just yet to find them. Haven't ran across such on my app.
@mikeprice8307 solar heat theough windows keep heat trapped inside our vehicles, causing condensation overnight. I did find a solution. At night, before you go to bed, open and close all of the doors of your car or truck. This will flush out most of the warm air in your vehicle that's causing condensation.

@mikeprice8307 You're right. I was responding to the older models. The DR970Dx LTE is a more advanced model, but they do have problems with dark tints beyond 3% at night. I prefer the 700 series because it automatically adjusts to very low light more handedly than the 900 series because it doesn't have to compensate for 4k light absorption needs.

How do you make it record while parked and you're not at your car
It can easily be set from the app. Just choose Continuous Recording. It will still monitor your vehicle's battery to ensure you have enough battery power for your car or truck every 2 seconds while it records motion with 6 seconds of extra video before and after any incident.

Didnt you not think of older car like classics that dont have obd port I swear car people are never the ones who create stuff like this
Actually, we do have a solution for older cars. It's called a PMP and it connects to your vehicle's fuse box via the 12v fuse for the starter which supplies power continuously. The PMP will cut off the power to the cameras if the battery's power falls below a certain threshold. Usually 12.1 volts.

You can use the LTE portion of the DR759-LTE cameras which allows you to use a mobile phone sim card. Your cameras will always be connected online no matter where it's located. 2nd, the cameras record even if the internet or wifi is not being used. Bit.ly/Car-Cameras
I was very interested in this product until I saw the local price, it's just under $1000 AUD. I doubt many people can afford to pay such high price. It might be a great dashcam but it's unaffordable.

I found that most car stereo installers can install these cameras fairly easy. In just a few minutes, you'll be up and running. We've even sent individuals to Best Buy to have them installed. How can i use this in a 1979 chevy tho?
You will have to use our direct wiring kit. The power will connect directly to the 12 volt ignition fuse which is always live. The kit and the camera system will ensure your battery does not run out of power by shutting off if your vehicle's battery falls below a certain threshold for starting power. If you drive your 1979 Chevy regularly throughout the week, you shouldn't have to worry about the camera system shutting off since the vehicle battery will be recharged with every drive.

My veh is being vandalized each night and would love a camera like this.
I know the neighbor is vandalizing cars including mine. We have tried several but to no avail.

This is why we only use a vehicle camera system with continuous 5 second loop recording. That may not sound significant but it's definitely needed when there's an incident that happens quickly and the perpetrator flees the scene in a flash. Most other systems have to"warm up to activate" when motion is detected. Our system will have 5 seconds of pre motion detection and several seconds after motion stops to ensure the whole incident is captured.
