- Oboé is a visual poem that features the story of an Alzheimer's patient. Drone Photography by JJ Trinidad & Andre Slaughter.
Using contemporary dance, we navigate through her memories, showing moments between heart and mind.
Static noise fragments come and go as she tries to piece the present together. All for the rush of living those again. Heart and Mind share individual moments being in control, dancing by themselves.
Dance and touch are used in a way to navigate and trigger feelings. I wanted to investigate the relation between memories and movement.
