Reminds me of the old historic area of Mexico City near the cathedral. But here in Vigan all the buildings are still straight, unlike in Mexico City where earthquakes have shifted the buildings. The Vigan zoo nearby is well worth a visit. They tour you around in large open air carts around the entire park. Vigan empanada is very good! A must have!
Disagree. Vigan is not a large city. In fact, it just looks like a big town, especially if you compare it with the big cities of Cebu, Iloilo, Davao, Cagayan de Oro.

About 8years ago, i went to Vigan and Sto Domingo at many times from Japan.
