Both the GE and SI King tone fuzz pedals have a Bias control. I own the GE, its great fun move the Bias for gated, spatty sounds all the way to overdrive type sounds
Nicely done! I like my Jan Ray after, but I'm new to the whole Fuzz thing... I have the Si version, maybe you can borrow it and make a comparison video for us? :)
The demo that sold me on this pedal; not sure why so few,- especially the people who own the company, - don't get that showing range and versatility is vital. The fact that you're not afraid to use the boring old TS,- inescapably the best thing ever made for most amps,- is immediately reassuring.Like that pedal, the KT seems the best thing going.Thanks.
I just picked up a Sabbadius Rainbow Fuzz. It's absolutely awesome and clean up is nice and glassy. It's a tele funkin bc108c just like jimmys but very interactive and can use a wah before or after. It has no issues before or after a buffer or buffers front and back. Check it out. ANYWAY this ge pedal seems great for a ge pedal and your playing and how you were honest I'm about to place that order. You rock!
My new fav guitar channel! How does this pare with the protein? I haven’t watched the video yet since I’m at work so I apologize if you’ve already addressed it. Keep up the good work!
I tried it yesterday after I was done editing this video since it was off the board, and it was glorious. I wish I had used the protein instead of the TS808, but I figured the TS is a sound people know and they may have one already
@@BuddyBlues that’s exactly what I wanted to hear. I just ordered a protein (your video sold me on it) and this will be my next one. Do you think the two would pair well with a custom shop 55 strat?
Great playing. How would you compare this to the isle of tone 67haze? I'm torn between paying what it sounds like that pedal is worth or getting the kingtone vintage v1 to have silicon and germanium. Is the isle of tone that much better?
what do you think of a guitar with treble bleed before it? or do you think it doesn't change at all......Jesse said treble bleed no longer interferes what do you think about it?
It takes experience and finesse to bring out the best in a fuzz. I’m glad to say that this pedal sounds a lot better in person. If you can’t get better sounds, then it might be time to go back to fuzz school (and discover the wonders of your guitar’s volume pot).
And some may argue your “critique” is inaccurate, not needed, unfounded, and incorrect. This is the beauty of messing with pedals. There is no right or wrong way to do anything. If it sounds good, you’re doing it right. And it sounded good to me, and to over 1 million people that have viewed this channel Much love
I feel like the King tone pedals always have the same tone between the switches. I had a duellist and both sides didn’t have enough of a difference to justify the price at all.
The switch is subtle, I agree. But to play the devil's advocate it really depends HEAVILY on what you have before it (buffer..long cable, another pedal etc..). Again not defending anyone or any brand, Kingtone pedals themselves aren't that expensive, the problem is the waiting list they have. And the even bigger problem is the scalpers that drive the price up. For example I bought this one new for $250(not cheap, but not outrageous for a boutique pedal). but for a while they were going for $400/$600 on Reverb. and THAT is ridiculous
As much as I generally agree with the TS after I think the Fuzz alone sounded clearer and better without it. He really does make some great pedals. Always enjoy the playing as well 👍🏻
@@CMHobbies Thats very interesting. Yea its all about sound preference. One person may love it, and another turn away. Always like to hear different views.
Hendrix's whole thong was shear volume from the amp not even close in this demo...push almost any overdrive into pumpin output tubes you get close to Hendrix . Hendrix depended on his fingers to get his feel . Good player though .dare you stand in front of a dimed full stack .
Tag me in a video of you playing. So we could all have a laugh at your expense. tf you think this is? You thought you were gonna waltz around post a stupid ass comment and go untouched? Post a video of you playing and tag me in it let’s make a mockery of it together
Your beard has the same mojo level as Gibbons, that’s a compliment !
Oh man.. I just wish I had his fingers
@@BuddyBlues Don't we all! But I'd settle for yours ;)
Way to start the new year ! I liked everything , guitar , amp and pedal ! I even enjoyed your playing as always...
Thanks Lou! Happy New Year
Awesome demo. Just what I needed.I’m gonna get one of these. Thanks for uploading.
Glad it was helpful! Thank you for watching. PLAY IT LOUD
@@BuddyBlues I’ll crank the amp for sure . Sorry neighbors:)
Your reviews are always so informative and enjoyable.
I've learned a lot from your channel.🤙 cheers

The floor in my man-cave is always extremely cold, need to put some Germanium on it.
Real vintage fuzz, very Hendrix. Great playing. Keep up the good work.
Thanks Clive!
That’s pretty cool, keep up the good work!
Thank you!
Great play, fun and joy.👍👍👍👍👍😊😊😊😊😊😊✌️😎

Thanks so much!! Sabbadius is really shining these days with their products!
Looked at v2 of the pedal. Any reason to get that one over this one?
This video is old I would certainly get the V2. The v2 is silicone and germanium in one for almost the same price. I in fact, want to get the v2

Does the "Spirit In The Sky" tone.
Oh this is spicy, great licks as always. I love it, I need it. I’d love your review or opinion on the tate fx antares.
Thank you! I have yet to try any TATE FX pedals.. I hear such great things about them
Buddy, you gotta get your hands on the Beetronics Octahive
Wait for this Tuesdays episode :)
Why is there a large knob on the switch? I’m looking at one on Fb and it doesn’t have that.
It’s something I’ve added to raise the button to press it easier..
You demo the best pedals, I would go to your videos first.
Thank you!
Hi, which fuzz pedal would be the first one to go to for fuzz dummies ? Smooth, warm, easy to damn…for OD boutique fan please 🙏🥰

Yo buddy where can I get some of those pedal knob extension things with ur logo?
Yes sir! Currently working with the company that makes them! Stand by for a week or so and I'll update

Haha!! Best intro EVER!!

Thank you! I think I should have added a little more treble on the TS808
@@BuddyBlues Out of curiosity have you ever used an Analogman Beano Boost and possibly compared it to the TS808? Nice demo and great playing too!
Must be personal preference. I hated how it sounded until the screamer was turned on, then it exploded. Loved it then.
I haven't tried any analog pedals yet! Soon I hope

for 500 dollars its a steal!
Not sure where you're shopping man.. but they're $250 to $300 everywhere
damn all these efforts needs appreciations. how are your subs so low i dont get it :(
