Really good, clear video. I like the accompanying text and extra tips. Thank you.
Thanks for watching ! :)
Thank you for this video, so in depth compared to others that I have seen, really helped when changing the bulbs as I had no clue on which was where
You're very welcome, thanks for watching 👍
This was fantastic and very clear thank you...it was a little bit fiddly with the locator peg to get it off first time but a bit of force and a wiggle really helped.
Thanks for watching ! 👍
Excellent video! Thanks.
Cheers !
you're a lifesaver

You're welcome, thanks for watching !
nice profi video, cheers!
Thanks for watching :)
This video was so helpful to me. I was feeling really accomplished that I changed it- but it still doesn’t work! The bulb wasn’t even broken that I changed! Now I’m reading lots about faulty connections and switched being the problem :(
Yeah the earth in the connector plug could burned away. It tends to happen on this model. If that is the case, you can bypass the earth wire. Here's a video showing how you can do it:

Thanks. That was a great help.👍

super !!!
Thank you! Cheers!
Thank you so much. Just subbed and haven't explored yet, but do you do servicing videos as well?
You're welcome. I just do basic servicing on some of the cars
What is the yellow wire beside the wiring connector? What is that connected too?
That's an earth wire bypass I made, as the connection in the connector block had burnt away
Nice video - So does the Peugeot 308 2011 just have one reverse light?
Yes it does, one reverse and one fog light.

Ohhh thank you loads.
Hi
Do you know the wiring diagram for this boot light? I removed this plastic boot bulb housing and it's got no wiring. I have Peugeot 308 ehdi 2012.
Thank you.
I don't have it, sorry
Are all the light bulb the same?
2 of the bulbs are P21/5W for the main light/brake lights, and 2 bulbs are P21W for both indicators and also the fog light on one side of the vehicle and the reverse light on the other side.
can somebody help me? What is the bulb type and model?
I had similar question - I recently got a second had Pug308 dirt cheap. Rear lights weren't working (earth problem mentioned earlier) but looks like someone thought it was the bulbs and I suspect they all got mixed up. Best I can offer based on my investigations are:
- All lights are 12V.
- The Brake Light is P21/5W (dual filament)
- All other lights other than Main light is P21W (single filament).
- The Main light is a mystery to me. Mine had a P21/5 dual filament which seems wrong to me as the socket only has one terminal
Perhaps ScrewsNutsAndBolts can shed some "light" on the Main light spec? 21W or 21/5W?
I have just opened up the light thingy again and noticed that the light specifications are printed on the reverse side of each bulb in the plastic 😣
I also noticed that your reply is a year old so this isn't going to help you much ... hopefully it will help someone else. 😭
- Brake Light P21/5W
- Main Light P21/5W
- Indicator P21W
- Fog Light / Reverse Light - P21W
Can u show me how to bypass earth wire 🙈
It was a similar job to on this video here:

1:09 i can not get it out? It is stuck. Can i use more force? I do not want to break it
Make sure you're pulling it out at the correct angle. You shouldn't need to use much force

Something is wrong because it wont Come off. I tried it the same way you did but it is holding it back.
@@minkeuk549 I don't know what's going on in there to be honest. Sounds like it has seized to to rubber grommet. Can you remove part of the boot liner and get your hand in behind it ?
@@screwsnutsandbolts
Wait What?
Is it a fog light on one side and a reverse light on the other side? 😂
That would explain Why i could not get the reverse light to start since it is a fog light😊 is it so?
@@minkeuk549 Yeah that's the way it's set up on a lot of cars 😄
