Great video, when reviewing such driver focused vehicles, the petrolhead kind, u need to disregard something's like heated back seats, and the drive itself is the one that requires the driver to be more engaged with the car. It's a sports car after all...
Puzzled, the B48T1 engine which generates 306 hp is mated to the four wheel drive version (All4). If this is two wheel drive then I question if it's the 306 hp. Now the reason the new Countryman is 50 newtons down on torque is due the DCT gearbox which can't handle 450 newtons while the 8 speed auto can.
Unfortunately we didn’t get the clubman in Canada after 2020 which means the 301 hp was not available but the jcw countryman is as awesome as that one and is hella quick. It also is way too fun
I have a 2022 with the upgraded engine, and I'm in Canada. I had to buy one of the few that were available in the country at the time. I couldn't configure it exactly how I wanted as a result, but I still love the car.
Almost bought one of these during COVID and regretted not buying it as 2022 was the last year of these in Canada. I ended up with an FL5 Civic Type R now.
It’s such a fun quirky car, I’d get one if the price wasn’t 50k+, but one thing I find odd is the chrome body strip is….chrome and not blacked out like the rest of the car. It’s like two finishes fighting with each other. ✌️
All MINIs of this generation have the chrome ring around the greenhouse. Apparently, it's a design cue that calls back to the original MINI. I agree with your opinion. I've blacked the beltline out.
Bmw is replacing with an electric vehicle…I hate the electric car. If you live in and around a city (NYC) where on earth will they put the charging stations

Buy one that is 2 years old and certified you can get one for 29k for the iconic trim or 35k for the jcw
